:D] thanks obelix . you know it is one of the few cars i,e ambassador a real work horse its an allrounder allterrain vehicle with its high ground clearance .and on road people give way for this car where as in case of new generation cars we have to way to other cars fearing accidents .

Simply amazing restoration buddy. The choice of color for exterior and interior match perfectly. Really likes the center dome light and the area around it.

Wonderful work buddy, why not fix a White Walls for the tyre, Stick-on tyre inserts for the white-wall look are now available in the market.

It was a nice color.Is there any thought going in you for new sets of discs (Alloys or Gypsy disks)...It will suit this color a lot.

The color reallywe looks nice and the work has been done good

BTW why cant HM invest and amke AMBY gen next version now? Just like we have the VW BEETLE in gen next avatar,.. wow it has all the design DNA and curves from the famous BEETLE v1 and its a excellent modern car[:)]

speedodude Awesome ! Very few people dare to repair and beautify the classics ! Do you wish to keep the Wheels as it is or you planning to give a try with Alloys, I saw one Ambassador with Innova Rims (silver color) and had hella fog lamps it was looking pretty good. , another pic which has aura alloys

Congratulations speedodude on your car, it looks wonderful. And Rpm2500, the car in the pic is a stunner. We have 4 ambys 2007 models in the family and 2 are on standby mode;-). They were used for office purposes and subsequently replaced with indicas recently. Even though they are not being used much of late, Now, a decision has been made not to sell them, but spring them back to action and keep them at home. Yes , you got it right ,4 of them, and the ball is in my court to refurbish/ repair/ restore back to mint condition. They require engine work, gear box, tinkering, painting ....all of it. Can anyone guide me to the right garage in Bangalore? Thanks . ( rpm, especially from you, thanks once again)

thanks every body for appreciating the work , adding alloy wheels will be good but as i want to maintain the originality so havent given a thought .thanks for the suggestion
beetles are beetles or bugs they have a charm of their own with engine at back wow thanks for posting anks
rpm 2500 alloy wheels or gypsy disc are great but i havent given it a thought right now .
