oh brilliant!!

can this be done on a swift???
I have a 4 year old swift, has been bone stock till date, but now i am planning to spruce it up again, the first step was replacing the jk to A drives which is done. Now budgeting for more. Also can you PM me what kind of costs are involved for the same so i could decide the priority in my list of things to do with the car. [:)]
IMHO,buy the whole headlamp assy.Swift's headlamp assembly(projector type) is easily available in market.Just have a look at naveen's ride. Then why should we buy a bolt on projector light.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong.[:D]

Yes, it's always better to get the readymade projector for the swift rather than retro fitting projectors. Safe and reliable than bolt on projectors. You can get readymade projectors for 12k now. Check my thread for details.

and yes naveen i agree to what you have to say that the readymade for swift are better than retrofitting but then you have just about the same thing as atleast 10 other people there is nuthin unique in it [no pun intented ]

@vinie - True. This is common and not different from others. But since I went in for a new model, it's not all that common. The older two light setup is common. I have gone for the single projector setup which is pretty uncommon since it's costlier than the usual projector setup. It looks super cool too.

yes exactly my point, the bolt on ones are plain jane, i like this red eye! I think it will look good with my red swift!

And I like the whole idea of a quad setup, that way i can get my low beams and the red eye. I just want her to look mean and aggressive, shes so plain and vanilla now and its been a while shes been playing the good girl! :)

whats the difference between a normal setup and quad setup? does it seperate hi and low beams?

Also can oly one be red eyed while the other lights up! eg: the high beam remains 'terminatored' while the low beam is on?
Hey Bigblackshark, as Vinnie has explained in the quad set up he has made arrangements for 2 projectors to work as low beams and when i switch to high beams all 4 light up. i will shortly post the front view with low / high beams.

I strongly suggest to meet up with Vinnie as his work is awesome and unique.

I am from coimbatore, I would like to change my stock halogens to philips HID 6000K. But I heard that it will be illegal to use without projectors. Could you please tell me where I can get good projectors for wagon R in coimbatore ? When I checked philips webiste for conversion kit. They say - "Directly interchangeable with the existing halogen headlighting solution Installation only by trained technicians". Does that mean it can be used without projectors. I got confused. The link is given below.

It's illegal to use HID's without projectors so it will blind oncoming traffic. Also, you wont find much use from it as most of the light will be scattered. Not sure whether you get ready made projectors for Wagon R. The best bet would be to find a good installer and see whether he can retro fit projectors onto the existing headlights.

I would suggest you not to fiddle with the headlight assembly or the fog lights. Adding after market drls will spoil the looks. The best place would be to install in the air dam. That's the place that many prefers.
See pic for reference.
