So the car has been landed and reached to the dealer's stock yard day before yesterday. Since I had told them not to pass the car as I will be going for a choice number, the dealer said buy the number and give the recipt and we ill give you the delivery the other day after the registration process; cleaning and poloshing the car.

Yesterday went to the MH 43 RTO Vashi to checkout some numbers. The RTO was not taking any registrations yesterday and was told that the same will happen today also. So Saturday and Sunday again Holiday. All work will start from Monday. Actually after the price increase they are doing some upgrades (as told by the agent) so they are not accepting any new registrations.

So back to the topic; went there to check out some numbers. Met the agent who was handling our file. The new series was started two weeks back and my neighbour got his DZire CS with the number 07*0. Accordingly planned to give him the choices for the numbers. Showed him the list which had numbers 1800/1188/1881/2700/227/2772/3600/3366/3663 and so on. He saw the list and straight away shuued me away saying that no numbers are left in the series. All fancy and VIP numbers are already sold. I was really pissed off from his attitude. Chucked the idea and told him to give me a total number 9 thats it and came back.[anger]

Came back to office. Had lunch. Went to meet a client at Kalyan Sealpatha. I was earlier informed by the dealer that their stockyard was at Taloja. Asked the client about Hyundai Stockyard nearby. He just pointed; cross the road and go straight away half a km away from that kaccha road. Went there and there she was standing amongst her family and cousins.

Congrats, Gears. I can understand the excitement. If I had to buy this car, I would have bought it in either Purple or White. It looks quite bigger and sporty in white with detailing clearly visible. So when is the delivery expected? We look forward to a review soon.

Finally you got to see your Fluidic in flesh, congrats Gears[clap] and as Vibhor said White and Purple is the personal pick for many.
Is the PDI done? or will you do it after registration?

congrats once again sirji, by the way the parts warehouse is also at taloja, and it took 7 days for my suspensions to come from taloja to sharayu, by the way the height seems the same as my cars height with the october modified suspensions, lets see how yours performs.

Hey Gears. Congrats. Great enthusiasm to drive tomthe stockyard which is over 40km from your home to take a peek at your beauty. She looks pretty in white. Never seen a stock of so many new vernas at one time. Looks like Hyundai has increased production of the vernas. Hence a pretty large stock of vernas for deliveries.

Looks like You will have a sleepless weekend .

i have the same color like yours [:)]

Regarding the tolls I am not paying at any toll booth from pune to A nagar and shikrapur to chakan road.. my routine is to just blow horn two times and by seeing my verna's number they will open the gate [;)]

Thanks Vibhor! Yes the car looks bigger and sporty in white. Well we can expect the car in hand by Tuesday or Wednesday; once the car is registered.

Well didnt did the actual pdi; but yes did the inspection from outside. Didnt got a chance to step in. IMO if I do the PDI before the registration and if something happens after that then showroom people would say that you passed the car in PDI. Also IMO its better to do the PDI just before taking the delivery. Any fault if any found will be taken care in the first service.[roll]

Thank you TopGun. And yeah it was great enthusiasm to drive till the stock yard which is over 40kms away that too in a Activa. Actually we often visit that place for business purpose and this visit was not a special one for checking out the car. Asked the guy whom we deal with about Hyundai stockyard; he just pointed a kaccha lane opposite to his shop. So while returning; went to that lane and God knows what happened to us; like a magnet we were getting attracted to that place. While entering the gate there were Mahindra vehicles; but then also we kept going in and spoted an i20. And yes we were at the right place.

Well you are lucky that you dont pay any tolls. Also I guess your Fluidic's number is not that vip; so was wondering how they leave you. Any hafta given to them?[:D]

hey gears, my bro is in a group of people who are having same numbers for all their cars and SUVs.
take care of your beauty while driving till first service, do not cross 2.5K RPM or 100 KMPH this beast of 1.6 will deliver you a good engine for lifetime.
i am getting 18-19 KMPL in city and 21-23 KMPL on highways with full ac.

what dadasaheb says to maintain till first service is good, manual says use the rev range between 2000-4000 rpm. I have not maintained or done anything as such in the first 200 km i started driving till 6500rpm, still no engine issues or weird noises, only had the fe issues which was due to the oil.

Some Sunday we should have a Suburban Verna Meet on the expressway or Vashi Or maybe at the 3m Care Centre at Belapur . What say guys ?
