@dhruvpandit - I can't find the thread of your trip. Not sure if you've started one.
I would like to know more about the 2000 + kms trip in the Nano.

I too own the Nano 2012 - have completed 6000 happy and satisfied Kms. My car turns a year old this Sunday :-)

Its still in TIP section. Actually I was quite buzy. Now will complete that thread asap

Hi, My Tata Nano LX (now one month old) shows a starting problem on rare occasions. When I turn the key, engine does not crank, but instead a click sound is heard. It does not start for another few more attempts. Could this be some problem with the starter motor? Can some experienced Nano users comment?

i have the same problem, still now. will be visiting service centre after Xmas. people said its solenoid in starter motor became weak and this will be covered in warranty.

Hello, Were you able to get the starter motor problem fixed? I am facing the same problem and have given it today for checking.With your input, I can talk to them with more confidence.
