Starting this thread to pass information to fellow members regarding free service / check-up camp (across OEMs)

To start with, Nissan free check up camp from 11th~17th Nov (across the nation)

one way free car check ups are great
but swapping of parts usually occur in such a scenario

recently went to hilton hyundai trivandrum with my friend's car,free car care was organised, i just asked them for a water wash ,there were about 60 cars
50 cars on that day,10 cars previous day ones which were not finished up.
the service technicians had a tough time handling all vehicles at a time.
the sad thing was when i got the car back the orvm had a scratch,i told the service staff. They accepted the mistake and had assured a brush touch during next service.Next service due within 2 weeks and will see.

An Update Friends,

Mahindra and Mahindra have announced a nation-wide free service camp for its passenger cars called as the "M-Plus". This service camp initiative by M&M shall cater to all MUV, Sedans and SUV cars like the Bolero, Scorpio, Thar, Xylo, Quanto, Verito, Verito Vibe, Logan, XUV500 including the Ssangyong Rexton as well. The camp is scheduled between 02nd March 2015 to 08th March 2015 in over 450 Mahindra ASCs across India.

Nissan has announced the 3rd edition of “Happy with Nissan” customer service campaign in India:

  • Kick starts from today till 18th May 2015

  • To be hosted in 124 locations across 100 Indian cities

  • This camp will focus on customer interaction (resolving service related issues etc)

  • Customers will be offered free 60 point car checkup, 20% off on labour charges, 20% off on Nissan Genuine Accessories.

  • Nissan is also offering extended warranty at a base price up until 365 days and a discount of 10% after the first year as a part of this campaign.

Key Highlights of the Free Monsoon Check-Up Camp:

To organize a nationwide Service camp from 28th July to 2nd August, 2015

Tata Motors today announced the roll out of the nationwide Free Monsoon Check-Up camp for its passenger vehicle customers. This free check-up camp will be held from 28th July to 2nd August, 2015, across 585 workshops in 293 cities and will cater to all Tata Motors' passenger car and utility vehicle owners. Customers can avail of free car check-up and exciting discounts of up to 20% on Tata Motors Original Parts and Labour charges. Taking forward the initiative of providing better customer Service, Tata Motors has associated with over 25 suppliers who will offer a discount of up to 10% on accessories, lubricants and other value added services.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors said, "Further to the success of the first Mega Service Camp, we are very pleased to announce the roll out of the second phase. We believe that after-market services are imperative to enhance customer experience. This service camp is specially targeted to help our customers overcome issues that are resultant of the monsoons. Sales and Service from Tata Motors is evolving and adopting a customer centric approach, creating new benchmarks and identity for the company."

With the success of the first phase, this monsoon camp also comes with more and better benefits planned on tyres and batteries, apart from labour, lubes, parts, safe monsoon driving tips etc. The Company will also help customers with important information which will help them to prevent their cars from being affected by the monsoon. These will be accompanied by other offers such as Free Top Wash, Vehicle Check-up, upto INR 1000 off on battery replacement (inclusive of buy back) and special offers on roadside assistance policy.

At select workshops, customers can test drive the cars from Tata Motors' stable - the stylish compact sedan - Zest and the sporty hatchback - Bolt. Furthermore, all deserving cars and UVs coming to the workshops will be evaluated and their current car valuation will be provided. A good exchange bonus will also be offered to the prospective customers. Additionally, quick/on-spot loan approvals will also be provided to the customers, on special rates of interest, on case-to-case basis.
