after some hurry bury fixation of aluminium body and the bearing , "holy satan " was about to take the car to chennai! , yeah he was here .

just around 4 in evening a 'teacher' came through another customer to workshop , to ask about any car that is available for sale here.

Nothing in hand , he asked about the ikon that was being service , , we were in home , "holysatan" working from my home and me busily sleeping as no work to do.

Went to garage by 6 in evening , Yeah i was late to my work , but am the boss right?

to hear my mech saying that he has said 1.30L to a person for sale!

shocked , he said , he is not ready to sell the car as we have spend so much.
and we added , we are ready to sell if we get 1.40 and what ever above that is your commision!

Hoping no one would agree.

voila , the belt are fixed and we were in a long trial in the ikon!

Got the phone call , saying that ' teacher ' is waiting with the advance! funny yeah

then after a discussion , they agreed for 1.45L
5000/- sale commision , and we get a 1.4L from the sale.

car is SOLD ,

bitten by diesel bug! His next car is surely a diesel !
a 2nd hand immediately , or a new one a year later!


Though we know , both diesel and petrol are same ! diesel Not only win our mind , but also others surrounding us!!

car will be sold by tomorrow noon!!

say bye bye to the tank @ the ikon 1.6 . the real solid car

Gosh! Lots of quick trade-in going on around in our forum these days. Hope HolySatan soon finds a car of his dream, an Octavia perhaps? L&K will be ace of the pack. I'm eyeing for something on the similar lines too.

Bye Bye time for Ikon! Just started liking it! Fit in a few things and greased my shirt and jean today at our garage in the morning!

But in the evening, well, am I getting sentimental? Sold off my car!

The car is SOLD officially an hour back. The new owner paid the money to Ilango and took the car ending my 3+ months stint with a lovely car. Really enjoyed driving it. well this is where we say good bye!

got the engine overhauled and i just completed the painting yesteday evening.
from silver to audi black.
