@ Vibhor - Nice Thread and write-up, it certainly helped me decide - process which was on for the last 40 odd days !! I'm taking the delivery of my New Fiesta SXI tomorrow ! :)
Welcome to The Automotive India and Ford Fiesta Club, Nandish. Glad this thread was helpful in finalizing the decision. You could have also saved those 40 days if you had come here a bit earlier. Nonetheless Congrats for Fiesta. It stands true to the tag line “The car for self driven”. What colour you have booked? Do come back and update us with a review and tons of snaps.

Waiting for your first service experience and ownership review.
Sure thing, Arun. Later next month I am also thinking to install some much-required accessories.

Vibbs have you tried any pedal to metal stuff in your fiesta yet? Also what's the top speed that you have reached till date?
No pedal to the metal stuff so far. The car has achieved maximum around 80 Kmph but then it’s as much fun to drive on lower speeds too.

I will update and also post the much awaited comprehensive initial ownership experience thereafter. Here's an image of her on the NH08.

Much awaited? Man this has to be the most delayed experience(3 months feels like a life time), i hope u make it up by covering ever square mm of the car[;)]..looking forward to that.
Btw saw a white fiesta at the office parking lot, looks really great in flesh especially with the rear spoiler.

Got the first servicing done. It was a pleasant experience and the car was delivered a little before the estimated time. Bill = Zero.

There was no point in describing about the car when I was not familiar with it. Over these months, I have understood her behaviour, Goods and Bads to an extent which will help in composing a justified ownership review. I am planning to install some accessories, after which it should be online.

Great!

Were there no top ups required for the coolant/engine oil? I remember Ford charging few bucks for first service of the Figo for top ups mentioned above.

Have you done Engine waxing?

No top-ups were required. The car hasn’t done much kms anyway. About Engine waxing - I don’t think it is worth it.

I was not 100% sure on this. However, I did it on my Vista as it was offered at 600+ bucks at the time of first servicing.

I read in earlier post that the max you have gone is 80 kmph, the patience is worth admiration [;)] The car must been in love with you already for the care you are taking [;)]

Hi Guys,

i am new to this forum logged in just now and inspired by the true fiesta classic.
i have read all the queries posted. Good job all of you.
To start with this i have booked in fiesta classic 1.6 clxi variant. Any one from Bangalore because my dealer is from Metro ford Bangalore. i had an horrible experience with that guy, he had made me to wait more than 20 days despite of paying full amt and i am still yet to receive my car.

Don't know what would be my next move??? confused to drop this car or go for another one and take my amt back. i had given a timeline of this weekend!!!

Waiting for my car,

Vibhor, i would strongly suggest you to get a shed constructed for your cars else you will end up losing the paint lustre.

White baby looks classy . What kind of fe are you getting in city ?
Honestly I have not calculated the fuel efficiency figures yet. You will find about them soon in the upcoming review.

Mostly one of the cars is away at a time. So the tree provides sufficient shade to keep them off the direct sunlight though bird droppings are an issue for which I prefer to cover it.
