Guys,it's second time M&M has shocked the market.

TWIN TURBO and 100 bhp+240 Nm..my right foot has started itching again and same is the condition of my left hand.

@Ertiga:Buddy I'd advise you to go and TD Quanto as soon as possible.Why?Because Quanto has the advantage of higher displacement,body on frame structure will make it feel more rugged and it has a lot more power on offer too.
In case you find Quanto suitable then book it as soon as possible else this car has the potential to have a waiting of 3-4 months easily.

I guess, Quanto will attract more votes now.

These launches making us confused but in positive ways. My Ertiga delivery is by Jan2013 now I am also inclined towards Quanto. Mind says go with Quanto but Heart and Mind say go with Ertiga.

Expert's opinions are most welcomed.
I would also advice you to go and have a TD of the Quanto and decide.

I do expect Quanto would be something that is worth the price. We don't know how Quanto would behave while taking down the corners considering the tall boy design and the boxy rear inherited from its bigger brother Xylo.
A proper TD from someone would defenitly help us know how Quanto behaves !

After analysis the information available on various portal and discussion with friends at TAI, I believe Quanto is no threat to Ertiga. Quanto may challenge Duster and EcoSport but not to Ertiga. We will go with Ertiga only :)

I am also of your opinion. If I am to choose between a Quanto C8 and Ertiga ZDi, I would blindly go for Ertiga.
But the pricing stratergy of Ford Ecosport will decide who is the champion ?
If Ford gets the pricing right it would be Ford Ecosport !
Till then any-day Ertiga would be the best buy.

^^Well since for me dynamics are the top priority and hence I can't even think of a Quanto.Eritga for me too.but if it also gets a 100 bhp higher displacement powerplant then the deal gets even sweeter.

Driving Dynamics ! I have not seen a Quanto in flesh. But the pics itself (especially the rear)scares me how it would handle while hard cornering. Since Mahindra had done a lengthy road test with the Quanto before the launch , we can assume of a better product.Detailed ownership reviews or a TD can only do the talking[;)]

I guess for Quanto jump seats are spoiling the party else it would have been great product at least feature and price wise. Even I am doubtful whether a regular Hatch or entry level sedan buyer will consider it keeping fuel economy and comfort in mind. So all eyes are on Ford EcoSport which looks awesome at least in the pics.

I voted for Duster. Superb styling and a real SUV. Looks at some angles reminds the mighty Fortuner. [glasses] Great one to own.

Ertiga is not a SUV and should not be placed in this poll. It's only just another Ritz/swift type car. A stretched Ritz. [anger]

Quanto is a real VFM car. But the looks are awkward.

And then Ecosport. Another boron steel crap from Ford. Who told them that we Indians need this boron stuff [lol]. It's going to be pricey and another flop like Fiesta Sedan.

Duster is the overall winner and I prefer 85 PS duster among these.. now thinking of booking 85 PS duster base variant.

Buddy it's a Ford and I think I need not to say anything else.I have beaten my own 160 bhp turbocharged TSi with a half priced Fiesta 'S' on the way to Mussoorie.Ford car's are the best when it comes to ride and handling and I think after Duster Ecosport is the only car I can buy even without seeing and TDing one.

You need to drive the 110 ps for once.I drove it once and I lost my heart in just 4 kms.

Renault Duster wins for a family of 4 or 5 definitely. It looks more mature and well finished products. No comments on Ford Ecosport until it is launched.
Definitely no to Quanto which weighs 1.6k Kg and 0-100 is 17 secs.

Top end ford ecosport will be priced around 10-11L as per some reports.[frustration] I would rather prefer mid model of Storme then.
