Thanks MSN1, It seems Ford has priced on higher side for every accessories, Side running board is 25775/- and Spare wheel cover 8175/- which is greater than seat cover price.

Hope within few month we'll get good accessories in market at good price

I am also very curious to know how they will incorporate rear Armrest with cup holder, I guess it can't be done at dealear's end, anyone has idea about this?

we just need to wait for few more months to get the side running board from market as am sure this accessories are manufactured by local vendors and the same vendors sells accesories to market as well, so we can expect the same at bangalore j -c road at 60 % lesser price

regarding spare wheel cover a leather seat maker can make one for you at cheaper price or else my above answer is applicable here too

First of all thanks for starting this thread.

Apart from the 'compulsory' accessories worth Rs 4500/-(includes mudflap,foot mat,boot mat,car freshner,document holder and keychain) I ll buy the engine guard,illuminated scuff plates,the sporty pedal set and probably the rear arm rest depending on how they integrate it into the seats.Spare wheel cover is too costly IMO,so will look for an aftermarket option.

I have just booked a 1.5 p ambient mars red ecosport. I had a few queries and would really appreciate if senior members can help out

1. I want to get 16inch alloys on the car like the titanium model. Cam someone help me out with the money ill have to spend to upgrade from 15 inch rims to 16 inch alloys and tyres as well. Would i get some value by exchanging the tyres and rims on ecosport and would upgrading tyres void the warranty?

Would really appreciate if someone can help me with this. Thanks

16" wasnt there in the accessories list check with dealer on exchange price but it would be cozy moreover you need to change the tires too

so better bet is to go and get a better looking alloy from market without hurting your pocket.

Thanks MSN1, yep thats what i plan to do. But do you recommend any brand of tyres that i should go for. My usage is going to be less than 500 kms per month and i wont be off roading at all.

I personally do not like bull bars, they are very unsafe for you as well as pedestrians. In case of any collision full impact is transmitted to the chassis, there will not be any impact absorption by the bumper.

like scorpio or swift you can buy DRL from anywhere and fixit on front grill
but if you want to make a DRL like the one in the Ecosport showcased for the first time in delhi [jan 2012] it needs complicated procedure where the headlamp need to be opened and fixed again properly and it voids warranty

I booked Ecosport Titanium+ on the 26th, expected delivery is in October, planning to get the following accessories:

Sporty pedal set
Scuff plates
Running board if needed

I also wanted to get the wheel cover, but the dealer quotes are ridiculously high. I can get a spare tyre and may be a single alloy in that price :)
Bullbars are a strict NO since they interfere with the working of airbag deployment sensors.

on most cases the first showcased model car should get lot of modification and differed alot on production car; but on the production model of the ecosport is having almost same as long back showcased model the only difference is DRL

adding to that this DRL's are not even in the accessories list

For those of you who must have DRL's, will it not be possible to get it from abroad and install it locally ? The headlamp housing seems to have provision for it, will have to wait for actual owners to confirm if the wiring is also present from factory itself
