Looks awesome inside out, all that we miss is a T-Jet variant.[cry]
Couldn't catch the logic, when something is readily available off the shelf, why don't they give it to customer?

When a Sport variant is available with Diesel (90ps) why not a similar variant with T-Jet in petrol?

The pricing isn't actually bad, especially if you give a look at the pricing of diesel variants.

BUT - it is still going to be sluggish in front of competition. C'mon guys, if it needs to compete against Swift then it needs to perform like one at the end of the day.

I do have the same feeling and Punto needs some improvement in this area. Though there is a significant mass difference that shouldn't be an excuse. Either VGT is required across all variants or some refinement in the gear ratios.

This is how international media sums up the Punto Evo .

Don't get fooled by the Evo in its name. The Fiat Punto is virtually the same car even if fancy names are slapped to the nameplate on certain markets, but the little Italian hatchback is the oldest geezer in its segment. So what does this India-only facelift bring new to the 9-year-old model?

Those sweptback headlights do look like they have been lifted from a Kia Cee'd. You wouldn't believe how Fiat India is calling these new clusters - "reindeer headlamps." The brochure description is even more funny: "Fresh from the future, the Punto Evo always has its eyes on what lies ahead. Thoughtfully styled Reindeer Headlamps" and the tacky marketing jibber-jabber goes on and on and on...

Fiat has priced the Punto Evo competitively, with all the new goodies in EVO lets wait whether it match up to the likes of the new VW Polo and soon to be launched Elite i20. [thinking]

Bro..... International media always make fun of the Indian cars.
Don't worry about their comments If Indian top car manufacturer Maruti suzuki using fiat Multijet engine in their cars then it means there is something good in the fiat cars.
Just read this
Fiat 1.3litre Multijet - A universal engine| ZigWheels.com

and BTW most of the people liked the Fiat punto facelift looks alot. Besides everything else, just take a look at the car" I like how he concludes
