Ford eco-sport is based on Fiesta platform & this will be a compact UV. The front looks similar to new Fiesta. It will compete with Renault duster & will have same Fiesta 1.5l engine.

Ford India has just sent us an official mail about a special global announcement happening by the company on 4th January 2012 at New Delhi. Though isn’t clear what the announcement is about but looking at all the possibilities – Ford might unveil the New EcoSport on that day. Keep the fingers crossed.

Ford will preview EcoSport on Auto Expo 2012 along with other 12 Products. The Ford Pavilion will have many other interactive activities also, about which I will share in the relevant thread. Here’s a teaser image of EcoSport for now.
