Pricing is very aggressive. I liked the interiors. Overall for that pricing it is very good package.

Just one question, Why no 3 seater bench on second row?

Enjoy has potential to even kill Duster & ES to large extent due to more seats & space. Good thing for buyers -

Ford will be required to price ES aggressively & Duster can no longer go around increasing its prices.

The car is identical to the one shown during one of the car clinics I had attended a while back, review of which was posted promptly. The interiors haven't changed, only the color combination is a little better in the actual production car. The major change i notice are the seats, which on the demonstration one were pathetic , with leatherette covers on it and the seats weren't contoured. The seats on the actual ones do look comfy.

Aggressive pricing is the key to its success. Chevys are reliable, and with a sweet pricing deal accompanied by maintenance free packages, I'm hopeful it would be a turning point for guys at Chevy India. Good Luck!

SCOOP! Chevrolet working on compact Enjoy

GM India is believed to be developing a sub-four-metre version of its recently launched MPV, the Enjoy. The shorter version of the Enjoy will be priced even cheaper as it will get the benefit of a lower rate of excise duty that is offered to cars less than four metres long and a petrol/diesel engine less than 1200cc/1500cc respectively.

For the Enjoy to pass these criteria, we expect GM India to swap the current 1.4-litre 102bhp petrol motor for the 1.2-litre 85bhp unit that does duty in the Sail. The reduction in cubic capacity and power will, to some extent, be compensated by a reduction in weight – the sub-four-metre Enjoy could weigh as much as 150kg less than the 7-seater version, which will help performance and fuel efficiency.

The current Enjoy is 4305mm long and hence engineers will have to condense the MPV by more than a good 305mm. Hence, the smaller sibling may have to do away with the final row of seats, thus making it a five seater. More importantly, the excise benefits will make the shortened Enjoy around Rs 40,000 cheaper, which is a significant amount in the segment. A reduction of nearly half a lakh rupees on its price tag will pit the smaller sibling right in the meat of the hatchback segment. GM India has been struggling in the sluggish Indian market, but with the utility vehicle segment enjoying a phenomenal growth, these MPV siblings could provide the change of fortunes for the Chevrolet brand in the coming years.

they should have split the third bench to allow for 5 passengers plus luggage. the same could have been accomplished with bench style 2nd row and leaving 3rd bench as it is. this is a big error of judgement as far as im concerned, as the vehicle should comfortably fit a family of four plus chauffeur plus luggage. oh well, bring on the roof rails, and the kid sitting in the 3rd row with luggage sitting next to him.

Tavera is there for people who prefers benches than front row seat, the Enjoy's main aim is to pull down the Ertiga's numbers where the latter isn't much spacious in last two rows.

We are in a strong dilemma whether to buy Quanto or Enjoy, while both of them have super similar potential, will update my thread later, probably we might book this Friday.
