My 17 year old Carb maruti zen completed 2.1 Lac Km, it gives 20kmpl on highway with ac on at speeds 80kmph to 100kmph. Can do 140kmph.

My TATA Sierra NA 1998 model ( Bumblebee) is done 2.3 lac kms still going strong. gives a mileage of 14 due to broader Tyres ( 235/65/R16) which i upgraded. A trustworthy car, has never left me stranded god forbid.

My 1999 M800, completed 55,489km, and still going strong, with no major work done excepting the regular service. Need to replace all 5 tires.
2003 Hyundai Accent, completed 244,800km, clutch plate and timing belt changed @240,xxxkm, oil change every 3k km, and filter change every 6k km.

Well guys what about two wheelers? What's the maximum mileage you have seen on a bike? My uncle's Hero Honda CD 100 completed about 1,10,000 kms and now needs a suspension overhaul and little bit of engine work. As for car I have seen my father's official BOLERO which 5 years opd has completed 2,35,000 kms without any overhaul. And still it can cruise at 100km/hr without any problem.
I have skoda rapid 1.6 tdi. 2 year old i have comoleted 1 lack km. Daily average driving is 90 km and weekend trips of 1000 km twice a month.
I have not spend 1 rs on car yet expect 0.6 rs/km for servicing. Even disk pads are changed at 86000 km.
Meanwhile i had driven honda city, swift, scorpio, amaze these all were done around 50000 km but every car had really bad problems (engine vibrations, low fuel effuciency)
I prefer to service my car at 20000 km. All over world skoda provide longlife servicing for same engine but in india just to get higer invome they are not providing long life intervals. Skoda vw engine have linglife intervals of 45000 km max.
As said by other users engine quality, oil, maintaince intervals matter for engine life.
