Ok Guys,Lets say the engine is out of power and needs work. But does it give another 1L kms like the new engine?

When the engine needs work is it better to change the engine for peace of find? is that possible and what cost the engines cost?

Why you need to change the full engine when you getting the new half engine from the company itself. I heard Maruti and TATA gives the half engine in reasonable price.

Used 1997 M800, Odo was 136k Kms when we over hauled it not because it gave up, but we were restoring it!

Hi Mohit,

is your car runs on CNG or only on petrol. one thing is clear that old zen is very good quality product as compare to zen estilo.

Mine is a petrol one, always ran on petrol. Although I never used the extra octane petrol, always used the normal one...

But I have definitely noticed some difference over the time.
For first 3-4 years, my Zen could easily cross 100-110 KM/HR speed, but now, it gets hard to achieve this speed, so I normally drive it upto 80 KM/HR only ...

How many Km you crossed after your last clutch replacement? If you feel the engine struggles with A/c to achieve speed, then it will be due to clutch.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I do not remember when I last replaced the clutch plates. i think i may need to go to some service centre and get the car checked overall.

If I run with only myself on board, the car performs very well, but I notice the sluggishness when i have 3 or 4 people in the car.

^^ then the culprit is clutch disc. Just replace it at any good service center. Car will be back with power and smoothness.
