Dubai roads

It won't be over estimation if I call Dubai or the entire U.A.E as land of SUVs .
The roads are generally full of range rovers , prados , patrols , land cruisers , crvs nd rav4 and even mini SUVs like Nissan juke , Toyota rush and Renault duster are seen , and I was extremely happy to see mahindra Scorpio same colour as our member mukeshus near Sharjah [:)].
The latest SUV which makes head turn is range rover evoque though . Ofcourse it dosent mean that there are no sedans ofcourse there are and they are from entry level to super high levels too .

Road manners are superb , and rules are followed very strictly , acquiring a driving license is very expensive affair and can cost some 4-5 thousand dhs .

Love the old dubai which is also called as diera dubai , love that they still sell chai on road side small shops . And the buzz there is no different then streets of Mumbai . Walking on streets seriously makes you feel you are in India and sure the Pakistanis must be feeling they are in Lahore or Karachi .

The best part is many Iranian people speak fluent Hindi , and some Filipino guys too and I was shocked to see that their accent is as good as ours .

Will post some pics of roads and some cars I clicked .

Raja how was the SUV behaving in the desert Safari?
How long was the travel in desert planned?
Did all the SUV's leave in a convoy or they were independent of one another, Were they following any protocol?

And when returning back on tarmac, how was the refilling done to the tyres?

Was there a digital inflator?

Those towers look stunning.

I guess that was the building(on extreme left) Tom cruise had shooted for MI-4.

1) I was in a land cruiser and it was behaving perfect there was no topple kind of feeling .

2) its almost 1 hour in desert .

3) yes most of the time they follow a convoy

4) once you finish the desert safari , and are about to hit the Tarmac there is base station where the fill the air back again , there were pits made something like what we have here at the petrol pumps where we fill air .

5) yes it's the same tower bhurj Khalifa in the night and yes mission impossible was shot there.

Safa Park

Safa park is nothing great , it is just a simple , nicely maintained gardern . So why does it needs a mention here ?
Well because the gardern for a nominal fee allows you and your family to come relax and enjoy barbeque . They have special barbeque pits made where you can bring your own stuff barbeque your food eat , relax and have fun .

My both sisters , my wife, my bro in law , my sisters daughters we all went there with food and we cooked it there and enjoyed it was amazing fun .

Girls were making salads and preparation and I and my bro in law were in charge of the barbeque station .
The food was amazingly tasty , we all ate and then relaxed for 2 hours in the gardern lazily talking , laughing and remembering nice old stories .

The gardern is impeccable maintained and owing your barbeque was sheer fun .

Time for the pictures .
