HI zEphYr
What about a leather wrap on the dash. What do you think about the looks.
And which steering wheel hub/Boss kit you have used to mount the new steering and cost??.
Is it easy to remove the stock Steering. Can you plz explain briefly how to do so.
Regards,
Yousuf
Hey Yousuf, Leather wrap would look Damn nice and will certainly uplift your interiors.
Regarding the steering hub I bought it from a accessories dealer from Nagpur who shipped me the hub for Rs.1400 it was a BOSS hub which had a steel plating in bottom and that was little bit small in touching the horn earthing, so had done some jugaad but it ended up in foul play with the steering box and I removed the steering since then.
Well Gangtok's a small place theres no top notch accessories store here, I found out hubs should cost you at the most more than 1k. Get a HKB hub for hyundai which has a Gold color plating in bottom and it shouldn't give you any problems.
Any mechanic/electrician would be able to remove the stock Steering.

who said I10 is not a mod friendly car, your pictures almost changed perception of people. Great going there any future plans of Ice upgrade[:)].
Thanks man! In modified Swifts dominated region, i10 has something quite different charm to modifying it. Though aftermarket accessories is not quite readily available for it but with ones vision and the emerging new tuning companies in India I think it's a great car to modify especially with it's peppy engine.
ICE would definitely be upgraded in the future for now making do with the stock audio setup. Next upgrade would definitely be projectors and a ECU remap.

Hey! Karma, Thanks for appreciating the mods.

INR 3500 is too much for a aluminium mesh, it shouldn't cost you more than INR 500 for the size of a Verna bumper. Try to look in hardware store that deals especially in Nets that are used for houses or farms. If you still can't find it, you can PM me and maybe I could arrange something for your problem.

You're ride would look hot after installing the mesh. Helped recently a friend of mine to install a mesh in Hyundai Eon and the results were really good, will post pics here when I get some time to click it.

Hey fellas,

Since, the day I received my i10 I didn't like the front grill on the bumper thought it looked to plain (cute). Had always wanted to install a mesh and to achieve that meaner look. Finally, I visited some hardware store to find the right mesh, started looking out for aluminum mesh but didn't find the right honeycomb style that I wanted and I was just in luck when I found this plastic mesh, It just had the perfect honeycomb design that I wanted. [:D]

After that went to my local trusty painter/mechanic talked about how I wanted to fit and look that I was looking for. It was just installation and paint after that.

Before mesh look:

A day worth spent and how I wished I could leave the front bumper just like that without the number plates. Man! that would look mean.. Don't you fellas agree.
