India-Bound Citroen C5 Aircross Scores Four Stars In Euro NCAP
The C5 Aircross has been subjected to a series of crash tests by Euro NCAP organisation and the final result has been nothing short of impressive. The premium SUV was put through front offset deformable barrier test at 64 kmph, front full-width rigid barrier test at 50 kmph, side mobile barrier test at 50 kmph, side pole test at 32 kmph and whiplash slow speed sled tests at 16 and 24 kmph.

2019 Range Rover Evoque secures 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating
New 2019 Range Rover Evoque has passed its round of Euro NCAP testing with flying colours, a five-star safety rating it is. Evoque in now available in its 2nd-gen avatar, having first been launch back in 2011. In its recent Euro NCAP testing, the 2019 Range Rover Evoque has scored higher ratings for adult and child occupant protection than its predecessor.

2019 Toyota Corolla scores 5 star safety rating in crash test – Video
As per the experts at Euro NCAP, “The passenger compartment of the Corolla remained stable in the frontal offset test. Toyota showed that a similar level of protection would be provided to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions.” Watch the crash test video below.

India bound Volkswagen T Cross SUV crash tested – Scores 5 star
All new Volkswagen T Cross SUV has been crash tested by Euro NCAP. The SUV has performed exceptionally well in the crash test, scoring a full 5 star rating. It registered a 97% rating for adult safety, 86% rating for child safety, 81% for pedestrians and 80% where safety assist features are concerned.

India-Bound 2019 Jeep Wrangler Disappoints With One Star In ANCAP
Compared to the last generation Wrangler, the 2019 model performed poorly as it secured a highly acceptable four-star rating seven years ago. Some can argue that the ANCAP regulations did get more stringent in recent years but the result is still considered to be appalling nevertheless. The awful score was mainly due to the lack of structural strength according to ANCAP as the unstable passenger cell was a result of the test dummy making contact with dashboard and A-pillar compromising the cross fascia beam. The footwell ruptured compared to the previous model that had a long generation gap as well.

Maruti Ignis export variant crash tested – Gets 3 star safety rating
Made in India Suzuki Ignis for Africa has achieved three stars for Adult Occupant Protection in the frontal crash test at 64km/h. The midway rating comes with a vehicle structure that’s rated as unstable. The vehicle offers weak chest protection for the driver. Driver and passenger head and neck protection was ascertained as good. Passenger’s chest protection is ascertained as adequate. Driver knees get marginal protection and could ‘impact in dangerous arear behind the facia supported by the transfacia tube’.

Honda Amaze crash tested by Global NCAP – Gets 4 star safety rating
Honda Amaze for the African continent is made in India. For Africa, Honda Amaze has scored four stars for Adult Occupant Protection in the frontal crash test at 64km/h. The model tested is a 2019 RHD, 5 door sedan. Global NCAP did not reveal the kerb weight, but stated that the crash test weight is 1,173 kgs. Crash test weight includes the weight of crash test dummies (2 in the front, 1 child with child seat at back) and all the equipment and wiring that is needed to record the crash test data.

Make a good strong car in INDIA and sell it in Europe,with 5 star safety and fool the INDIANs by giving them different car with substandard safety for a decade at-least, along with a sticker of 5 star safety at the rear windshield (earlier i20 and swift).
In this case too Who knows what the truth is?? Honda Amaze for the African continent !! Why not the Amaze moving on the roads here in Delhi or Bangalore or Chennai or anywhere in this country.

Toyota HiAce scores 5 star safety rating in crash test by ANCAP
The all new Toyota HiAce has scored 5 stars in the latest round of ANCAP tests. The tested model was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in May 2019. The tests were carried out on all van – 2 seat and crew van – 5 seat variants built from February 2019. The tests revealed some impressive scores.

True - all these multinational companies come to India, start a company with the Tax holiday benefits from the Indian government, manufacture, quality vehicles for export and supply with standard quality to Indian market. Believe they feel that they can get away from authorities who are not that strict to adhere the rules here in India. !!

The Audi e-tron was recently previewed in India and the launch of the company's first ever electric SUV is more or less confirmed in our country. The Audi e-tron scored a full five stars in Euro NCAP's latest round of crash tests. Yes! It was the European spec model, but the ratings are good for the right hand drive model which will be launched in India. The variant that was crash tested was the 55 quattro. The e-tron scored a commendable 91 per cent in adult occupancy protection, bagging 34.9 points out of 38. As per Euro NCAP, the passenger compartment was stable in the frontal off-set crash test and the dummies indicated good protection of the knees and femurs.

Brazil-Made Toyota Etios Scores 4 Stars At Latin NCAP Crash Test
The Brazil-made Toyota Etios has bagged a 4-star rating for Adult and Child Occupant Protection in a recently conducted crash test by the Latin New Car Assessment Programme (Latin NCAP). The result was the same for both the Etios Hatchback as well as the Sedan version. The previous version of the Toyota Etios had also scored 4 stars in the earlier crash test. According to Latin NCAP, the Etios missed the maximum star rating for child occupants because of the lack of passenger airbag warning marking, lack of passenger airbag disconnection switch and the poor ISOFIX marking.

Tesla Model 3 Scores 5 Stars In Euro NCAP Crash Tests
American electric automaker Tesla's most affordable offering, the Model 3 has been awarded five stars in the latest round of the Euro New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) crash tests. The electric vehicle scored a good 96 per cent in adult occupant protection and 86 per cent for child occupant protection. The Tesla Model 3also scored 94 per cent for its range of safety assist systems, which is the highest safety assist score awarded to any new vehicle in 2018-19 protocols by the Euro NCAP.
