Thanks Anuprav! BTW, the variabts are LXI, EXI, ZXI and Titanium but it is tough to tell which one is it if it is other than Titanium.

My first service is coming up, almost there. Have done 2500 Kms in 1.75 months. :-).

My complaints currently are:
1. Tyre pressure on right side tyres reduces at a higher rate than others. Within a week's time one of the tyres had lost quite a bit of it, like it was 21 instead of 30.

Apart from this, no other complaints.

BTW, you did not tell what was the faulty design in FIGO???
so, even you have a problem with tire pressure. I think it has something to do with faulty rims.

Hey JammyD do you have tubeless tyres?? If yes then there may also be a problem of small nails or other particles which will reduce the tyre pressure slowly.

Figo comes with tubeless tyres and what you are saying could be true in my case. Anyway, its service time for my Figo on Thursday and hopefully the guys figure out what the issue is and fix it. Fingers crossed. Because of this pressure problem, I got some really bad mileage this time and I am sure it is because of the tyre issue. Otherwise, the DTE which used to show 550 initally, now shows 605 after 4 refills.

so, even you have a problem with tire pressure. I think it has something to do with faulty rims.
The pressure does not go down immediately but gradually, just enough to trick you to think the pressure is fine. We get to know the amount reduced only when we get it checked.
I really hope that the root cause is not the rims but some small nail as cooldhaya mentioned.

Will update you guys once it comes back from service.

Ok, finally passed the phase of 1st Service on my Figo. Very impressed with the professionalism shown by the executive at Lathangi and the quality of service.

Had taken an appointment for 9 AM but reached around 9:15. Since it was first free service, he straight away asked about the concerns I had and I promptly mentioned the ones I had namely the tyre pressure and an very occasional light vibrating sound at right front inside the cabin. They do an under body inspection for all the cars to look for any severe damages. Found the area where it used to scrap when moving over humps. I was under the wrong impression that it was the exhaust but it is actually the chasis frame.

At the same time he checked the tyres and guess what was the issue with the right rear tyre - A long nail had made its way into it (attached a pic of it).

He promised to return the car at 5:30 and it was spot on. He had called me around 4.45 to tell that the car will be ready in 30 mins. When I went to collect the car, he took me inside to the place where they were still doing the under chasis coating and allowed me to have a close look. Cam back and was settling the bill + 10 mins, he came with the car.

I really whole heartedly appreciate people who do not hide anything because that is the first signs of honesty!

I have also gone for the underbody anti rust covering from 3M which has 5 years warranty. Need to get it checked at every service and if the paint has come off, they will repaint it for free. This costed Rs.2850 but I felt it to be worth enough for the protection it gives.

The bill details:
Wash fluid pouch - 51.62
Oil Filter - 318.20 (Rs.92 for Petrol variant)
Distilled water (for battery) - 5.62

Tubeless Tyre Patch (for the puncture) - 44.44

Engine Oil (Mobile 1 non synthetic) - 763.38 (200.89 per litre, 3.8 L used)

Parts Total - 1,183.00

Under Chasis coating - 2,850.00
Labour charge - 100.00

Grand Total - 4,597 (including tax).

Mobil 1 synthetic oil costs Rs.900 per litre while the non-synthetic one costs Rs.200. Opted for the non-synthetic one for the time being.

@Umang - Pic of my car with the sun film. [:)]. Just kidding, I will post more better pics of the sun film soon.

Aaha so i was right about your tyre issue! I mentioned it because i faced this same issue with my Verna a few months back! Glad to know that Ford are very professional and keep up their time exactly! The maintenance bill also seems to be cheap if we leave out the underbody coating.

Hey JammyD also update your maintenance costs in the other thread"Maintenance cost of vehicles in India".

This is good report Jammy and always nice to read about good servicing offered to anybody.

Why did you change the oil in 1st servicing? Is it reccomended or you went on your own?
And what is "Wash fluid pouch - 51.62"?

Otherwise the price is pretty ok. Yes the synthetic oil will be costly.
Also do stick to ford's reccomemded oil brand and type. Service station might tell you to take different branded (depend who gives them max margin:cool:).

Ford recomends oil change at 1st service hence went for it. Did not feel the necessity of synthetic oil at this point of time.

Wash fluid is the the fluid they mix with windshild spray water. I know that it was not necessary to do it since nobody would have exhausted it in 1.5 months.

And regarding the oil, they use only Mobil 1 for their cars so no question of competition.

@Cooldhaya - Yeppy, you were right and I thank god that it was nothing more serious like Rim damage, etc.

I will update the other thread too with this information, right away.

I will be going for the first service on 29th June but facing some issues with FIGO.

Yes you are right apart from Titanium if difficult to judge which variant is it.

Great to see your service details.

I thought you were done with your 1st service, hadn't you? Have you delayed it on purpose? 'cause I thought your car has run more than 3K kms.

After the first service, I have found two minor issues:

1. Looks like the oil drain has not been closed properly. As a result, a very small amount of oil leaks. This can be observed when I park it overnight and see in the morning.
2. A kind of dabbing noise from the rear when I run over pot holes or uneven road. It is not always buy sometimes and I suspect that it could be from the back suspension.

Need to visit the service center this weekend and get it checked.

Wow, looking cool.[thumbsup]
Which brand it is? How much it costed you?
Thanks RSM. It is 3M and costed me Rs. 2000 including labour charges. I could have gone for the reflective ones but did not think of it when I got this done.

Both are minor issues, and can be fixed easily. Just visit them when you have time. But yes if you there is some leakage, keep checking the oil level more frequently and make sure the level is maintained.

You tint is looking very good, i personally don't like reflective glasses.

The oil leak is not bothersome but it stays on the back of my mind. Had got a call from lathangi asking if I am facing any issues after the service. I had not noticed this issue at that time.

I saw this reflective glass on my brother-in-law's car. It is not 100% reflective, may be 60% reflective but enough to block the view from outside. From inside, though, the view is almost as good as through normal glass, say the visibility should be around 80%. He said that Sagar automobiles charged him some Rs.4000+ for that.
