Tata had recommended oil change initially at 20K kms, which is lowered to 10K km or 1 year.
For Fiat it still is (I presume)15K km or 1 year.

Hence, Chevy also has same guidelines. Not sure about Maruti DDIS engines, what is recommended.

Thanks to Vishwas first of all ! [:)]

Had a chance to see and drive has Chevy Enjoy. Yes I really enjoyed..
He wanted to get some accessories hence recomended him to my regular dealer / shop.
He came home with his Enjoy ! It has a good appearance on the road.

Color is good, seating arrangement is good ! I am 6.2" I could seat easily in 1st & 2nd row, but in the third row I was not facing issues with leg room but it was height.

Driving position is good, dash and instrument cluster looks good and easy to use / read. Surprisingly it has 5 ac vents on the dash.

Engine comparment looks cramped.

Started the engine, wow no noise heard inside the cabin ! NVH levels were almost zero. [clap]

I feel there is no turbo lag too, at 1800 rpm turbo kicks in the car starts pulling like any thing ! Reaches 3k rpm in no time. I never expected from such a big car.

Gears slotting was perfect but long throws for every gear. (but we both were ok since alto & 800 has long throws).

Brakes are fine, need to get the report from Vishwas when the car is fully loaded.

Steering felt hard, may be because I have driven a vehicle with HPS for the 1st time.

Never noticed any body roll, may be due to low ground clearance but tire upgrade is very much necessary.

A/C is a chiller, especially the front ones, one flaw is the rear A/C comes on when the front one is running (except the blower), this might reduce the efficiency of A/C in peak summers. Pickup was fine when the car was running in turbo range.

Electricals are upto mark, power windows rollup & down fast, the ice blue illumination on instrument cluster, head lamps (good thing was low beams will be on even when high beams are turned on, new feature to me).

Finally Enjoy is Value for money.

Small bits missing ! Cigar plug (atleast at front), headrests for 3rd row, internally adjustable OVRMS (atleast manual), plastic protection on rear wheel arches (inside),
remote boot opener..

For installing a Cd played (HU) the slot size is neither single or double din ! [frustration] They need to do some mods to fit a single din HU.

The slots on the door car accommodate 5 or 6 inch speakers. (on all 4 doors)

We got the A & B pillers blackened, changed the cabin lamps to Led's.
More accessores coming soon, details by Vishwas..

Sorry for the long review, hope Vishwas & others like it.

Some pic's.

Thank you Varun for that short review and photos, my ownership thread is still in W.I.P, will come up with the review shortly. But one thing, Varun was really impressed with my ride and not to mention the power/wrath of the MJD, which i am absolutely in love with.

The sticker finish on a,b pillars are perfect and exact like i imagined!

@ Vishwas and Varun, looking at the pics, I feel 2 DIN HU will not fit into the slot at all. But 1 DIN will be smaller. You have to find a finisher/panel for same.

Wow that blackening of A and B pillar gives a stunning look. Now it looks like a innova from its side profile. Was that vinyl stickers? Also doing that on roof will give a killer looks. I really liked the enjoy. How about chrome door handles and side mirrors?

Yea the 2 din system won't fit and there a gap when 1 din system was kept, so the accessory guy told he has some idea to fix that 1 din stereo, will have to wait till this weekend.

That link was helpful, Varun should see this and advise if anything is possible.

The engine is a gem and no turbo lag is even more sweet, you could meet us this Saturday if you wish, I'll be in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, where so you reside BTW?

Thank you, I think those are vinyls, the quality is decent and the matt black color gives a nie and decent approach when seen in flesh. I try not to do it on roof for it might prove expensive and lessing of A/C effectiveness in Summer.

Initially had plans to do chrome mirrors, but i felt this black and silver combo looks good, the car isn't finished on the exteriors which means the roof rails, door visor and spoiler isn't added yet, will get an indea by next week.

.
I reside in Singsandra and my home is 1 km from Kropex Chevy show room. BTW all the car showrooms are in vicinity of 6 kms from my home except for Tata,Renult and Rio. Will definitely plan sometime.

Guys, need help here, the SE said the first Engine oil change is at 5000 kms and not 1000 kms, is that recommended? I hope not.
Viswas,
Oil change at 1000 km is for cars from the stone age.
If it is synthetic oil recomended by the company, then oil change could be at 10000km, 15K km or 20K km depending on their poilcy.

If it is mineral oil, then change at 5000 km is required.

Tata had recommended oil change initially at 20K kms, which is lowered to 10K km or 1 year.
For Fiat it still is (I presume)15K km or 1 year.
Hence, Chevy also has same guidelines. Not sure about Maruti DDIS engines, what is recommended.
In Maruti DDIs it is 5000 km. Maruti uses mineral oil to keep the services charges per visit low. But one need oil change every 5000 km.

actually I dont remember properly but Punto first oil change was also at 15000KM (or may be 5000 KM). Damn confused will check the manual and come back to you.
Dear Dharmesh, you changed oil for the first time when it was 15000 km.

I'm confused here, so for the first 15000 kms the vehicle is in run-in period? I mean do we have to drive it sedately and below 100?
There is no link between running in period and oil change for modern diesel engines.
Running in period for FIAT multijet engines and engines derived from that is normally 1000 km.
In fact this running in period itself is not stricly required for some of the cars now a days.

Looks great Vishwas. I Love the following points

When I see the control on door /AC Vent looks similar to Sparky.
And that middle AC vent in dash might be useful for the second row.
Digital clock in the middle

BTW, is the 2nd row is bench type or bucket type.
