I am confused now.
I am planning to book Pun10 1.3 Active on next month. (Though my use will be low!)
So should I proceed with my pal and book Punto or and go back to starting point and start TD of Petrol cars only?
Pl. advice.

If atall the govt does this crazy tax thing which is not sure as if now and assume if they do it , and if you get your car before that why you have to worry ? When are you taking the delivery ?

book a punto and change the booking later if needed
if you cancel booking then only rs 250 is deductible

As of now the plan is to :
1> get the final quotation for September from dealer
2> get the calculation and Agreement with Leaseplan
3> Leaseplan will release the PO to dealer
All these with 10th Sep,2012.
* Cancleing is not an option for me.
Then if these really applied by Govt. then how I will get affected? Can you pl. let me know bit in detail,please ?

First govt plain is not certain as they are just thinking about it so dont get stressed as govt desicion on such matters are not easy as it sounds .
Second punto dosent have waiting period.
So relax don't worry get your punto and enjoy.

Don't buy petrol Fiat, else you will need to give money to the buyer when you decide to sell it, which will include towing charges if required !!
Go for Japs or Korean for petrol, diesel for European.

It is simply irrational that you are buying a car worth more than 20 lakhs and cant buy petrol . Then use the bus . Why should we the tax payers pay for your luxury .

I have a friend who have Honda civic and swiftd. He always drive in swiftd but when its time to show off he will drive civic. The reason he bought swiftd is "petrol is too expensive".

This news of special tax on diesel is being talked almost a year by now, not yet confirmed anything yet. But I read a news recently that state governments are going to rise the life-tax by a huge percentage for extra revenue, hence check out this soon within your government jurisdictions and take quick deliveries of vehicles and get them registered soon![[clap]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Clap.gif "Clap [clap]")
