Sankarnarayanan: no i did not get it. seller failed to deliver product within specified time. So as ebay policy they processed for a refund, but there is a twist now. I received a cal from seller 2 days back that now they have received the shipment and asked me to purchase it again from ebay. I am in a dillema now what to do???
Should i go for it or stay away?

Superbd: the problem is that none of them (dealers) in Shimla or Chandigarh have it. All they show some bulky universal mobile holder which i dont like. I want to get a dedicated holder for my cell model which can hold it perfectly. I asked seller to give it through COD but they said it is not possible and asked to make payment through NEFT or purchase it again through ebay. But now this is not flashing in ebay. My bad.

the shipments from china will take a lot of time with the customs etc.

better buy a capdase cradle form indian ebay dealers.

Same thing happened to me when I tried to purchase a Nokia Lumia 620 cover from ebay.com as the seller was from china, I have paid in dollars and finally after 15 days I have enquired about the product and the seller says, it missed out somewhere and given me two options either get 100% refund or they will reship once again. I have opted for the refund already, but it is still taking time as my paypal account is under verification.

So it is always better to buy from ebay.in or any outside shop

Superbad: yes i will try some other shop or online store. Lets see may he i will succed in my mission.

Gurrala: my refund is also under process from last 20 days, only god knows when will i get my money back. poor experience this time. I will not blame ebay for this as my other shipments were arrived on time. Seller is the culprit this time.

Hmm, same here Himalayan, I am also waiting for my money and yes seller is the culprit and I have learned a lesson not buy anything from Chinese sellers and avoid buying from ebay.com where the payment has to be made in dollars and item is shipped from outside India. ebay.in is good

That is why they have global easy buy from ebay.in. Geb.ebay.in and you can get international products without any hassle. No worry on customs, shipment delay etc. ( I think I had mentioned before too)

Yes, Appus you have mentioned it while Nitin, Superbad were discussing about it, but some how I have completely missed out while dealing with that product and even forgot that I am paying in dollars by over excitement and now regretting for my act

one bad experience does not mean end of the world.
RK would have got his money back by now had he completed paypal's registration the first time itself when i posted the benefits clearly.

you never know when you may have to use it to get $$ or send $$

if one becomes lazy and uses the chalta hai attitude, you can blame only yourself and not ebay/others.

I got my money credit back to my credit card account, that was done some 4 days back and I forgot to check credit card account

I agree with Nitin, Yes we really don't when do we need to purchase or send some money overseas, so the account may be useful.

So after getting my money back 15 days ago, i agained searched on ebay.in for car mount . This time i did not get the dedicated holder specially for samsung note but got one universal car mount from FLY model no. S2224W-V which is much cheaper for Rs. 299/- and very good in quality. I ordered it on 6/8/2013 and received it today. Looks good in quality and holds the weight of my phone well. Pics will follow soon.
I will recommend this product for the phone equal to the size of samsung note.
At last i ended up with right product.

One issue I see with the mount is that it is risky to rotate the mount by 90 Deg as the phone might slide down as I would like to use the mobile in 90 deg from what it is placed now

for that you can use another mobile holder like this. but for my use this will serve me well.

Does not it block the power port/usb for that matter ? Hpt tje dpint as it is Universal type.
Check it on some bumpy roads too :). Try to pull out give some pressure and see whether it can withstand it. Note costs 100 times costlier than the holder. Be 100% sure.

Nice to know that you finally ended your search for a product in a happy way.
