Hi Vibhor,
This issue is known as "chrome red green gradient" issue, logged as issue no#110343 by Chrome, and got fixed in release 21.0.1180.89. You may be running something prior to 21.0.1180.89.
Thanks,

I flipped from Chrome to firefox today. as I told chrome would not show pitures in TAI. mozilla is doing well.

Mozilla UI still feels crude than silky smooth Chrome.

I will vote for Firefox as of now.

@Jayadev,

Mine is also same Windows 7, but 32bit !!. One Idea, you can un install the Chrome and reinstall it, I hope problem will be solved. After installing it, please do not opt for any windows updates or chrome updates !!

Thanks. I realized I was using the older version. After upgrading this issue has not appeared so far.

I cannot agree more. I will be more than happy to switch back to Firefox for regular use if it is improved in this area.

if you have a relatively new pc/laptop chrome is great, the thing with chrome or most google stuff like android is they are ram gobblers - require a lot of ram and still can do a lot better with "garbage collection"
If you are having a relatively medium to old pc/laptop with limited ram - mozilla seems the best option!

No doubt chrome is really good browser, but the only issue with chrome is that for each new tab you open a new process is created and this takes up lots of memory. Although your browsing experience may be good, but if you try to work on other things in your pc, this would turn out to be slow.
