P220 - looks good, big & strong. For the money you pay - you get a lot power.

The sheer dimensions of the bike - makes it a choice.

All said and done, R15 is a great bike - provided you have the roads to use its full potential. Bajaj spares are cheaper & ofcourse ITS FAST My vote goes to P220. For the pot hole filled Indian roads - strong forks, big fat tyres are a must. 220 has it all.

Friends, do you remember the title of Lance Armstrong's Autobiography? It's titled "It's Not About The Bike". Mick Doohan, Giacomo Agostini and Valentino Rossi have all said that it's the rider who makes the difference and not the motorcycle provided the competing motorcycles are closely matched. As we all understand, 'performance' is a sum total of power, handling, chassis dynamics, braking, acceleration etc. So keeping this in mind, let us put the same rider (say, Rossi) on all these three bikes and let him go around a test track on all these motorcycles one by one for, say, 25 laps. Which bike do you think would post the shortest average time (remember, no track is a straight take off strip)?

Yes, the R15.
