Well, since my other thread has been closed(and not without reason), I have nothing to say except :stupid:

So lets take this on a more segment wise approach.

Which is the best performance bike in the country?

P220, BHP talks. if the R15 was cheaper, it would still stand a chance, but i would not pay more than 1 lakh for a sissy 150 cc engine!

R15 looke like a cheap clone of the bigger R1 made at a local pappu garage! the fazer looks so much better & fuller.

The main thing i think while choosing a bike is how easy its on pockets for maintaining it.
R15 maintainance is costlier, A friend of mine has R15, he skidded in rains one day, Total damage to his pocket was 15,000 INR.
Just for replacing the side dome.

My vote goes to Pulsar-220.

Guys, dont think im being biased, but the RTR shud have been here.
Bajaj, u've given enuf crappy low cost bikes to us, that handle like trucks and fall apart at a touch of a button.
Yamaha, kudos man. the R15 is cool, but underneath it all is just a 150cc engine brought out from a step-thru!!!
Tvs- i really appreaciate its outcome. handles very well, has very capable performance, My choice anyday. VFM at its best.

If only these two choices I would always stick with global leader Yamaha!

Never trust the V tv roadies... Some how I can't make up my mind for Bajaj.

Few more which can be added here..

Karizma ZMR
Apache RTR

I forgot the apache RTR :stupid:

Add it to the poll, if possible :please:

And the ZMR is not much of a sports bike,

Nevertheless, the ZMR will be in the poll when I create one for the best tourer.

IIRC, Ninja 250 won the Indian bike of the year and not the apache 180

BOTY awards varies from media to media.

BS motoring awarded BOTY 2010 for Ninja 250

NDTV CNB awarded BOTY 2010 for Apache RTR 180
