Thank you D.J.D.! Appreciate your comments.

For us locating and sighting wildlife is like hunting. [:D] The difference is, we use cameras instead of guns. And do not harm or disturb the wildlife.

We also saw these Butterflies...

Excellent pictures again Highway Ranger.
But these are not enough. We do need pictures of landscapes and horizon.
Keep posting [:D]

I am traveling to Kerala in a couple of days. Hopefully I can get some landscapes... seascapes/waterscapes more likely. [:D] I don't give importance to landscapes now a days. Not much challenge in that.[;)]

Yup, I know where you have been[;)]

Waiting for amazing pics(As usual)[:)]
So you know...[;)]

This time we had planned to go to Kumarakom and Cochin. We started from Hosur around 4:30 am and stopped for breakfast at our usual place, Shree Saravana Bhavan, past Salem. We had a brief stop at Coimbatore and continued on into Kerala.

Met Ram at Palakad bypass. It was a short meet over coffee. He gave us the updates on the road conditions. Since we wanted to reach Kumarakom before dark we had to leave in a hurry. Hope to have a longer meet next time.

Continued on through Trichur bypass and after Alway, the progross was a bit slow due to the Metro work. At Eddapalli junction we turned off left towards Kumarakon. We had our lunch at Nila restaurant at the junction. The food was good.

We reached Kumarakom around 4:00 pm and settled in the stay. Later we just drove around and found a narrow road that leads to the lake. By then it the sun was setting.

The next day we went for a 4 hour canal cruise in a Shikara.
