Thanks for joining Shrijit. Hope this non-sense will be stopped gradually. These dancing monkeys are often starved and tortured for performing acts. I hope that a time will come when people start doing something themselves for earning money instead of disturbing animals for money. [cry]

Actually I would have posted tons of photos that most of the readers would have cried seeing them. But I wanted this to be healthy discussion and those photos would have been objectionable for many readers. Search "Animal killing in India" and you will find out who is the real animal (humans or animals).

Found a pigeon injured in a stockyard of an ICE shop. Brought it home and I have kept it at home in one closed (ventilated) room as I have 4 cats in the house.

Good news is that it is recovering (has some problem in left wing, not able to open it) and willing be good to go in a few days! Feeling happy to have saved another life.

This is how I found it, left to die. Now it is roaming in that room but still not able to fly properly.

Thanks. I will post some pics of the cats also which I have in my house currently. I don't have any pet except fishes (aquarium) at this moment as I don't spend much time at home.

The mother cat comes in the house through an open window (which I keep open always) and has been with us for almost 1 year now. She gave birth to 3 kittens a month back and they have been in the house since then. Really playful! In fact, mother cat has taught them to pee/loo outside the house. [clap]

And the pigeon is recovering really fast. It is moving around the room now, is eating bajra and drinking water. When I bought it in the morning, it was not able to walk because of weakness (no food/water).

Sir,even we too had pet cats about 5-6 years ago but now all of them have dissapeared suddenly.[cry]The only problem we had with cats is that they would pee in our sofa/bed.When the cats were there,my grandmother would give them rice and milk.
Now,every morning, while going to school,Me/my father would give the street dogs biscuits to eat. They are also very nice+playful.

Update on the pigeon. The poor fellow was all set to go in the second week of January. Later I read on the internet that these breed of pigeons are one of the most tolerant and have strong immune systems to survive in the harshest of conditions. [:)]
