I remember seeing an Aura catalogue way back and the alloys for SUV's and MUV's were thicker then that for cars.

Like tires have a max load per tire that way rims might be having a max weight that can be put on a wheel.

I have not compared the prices.

I really liked them and the finish looks great too.

What kind of warranty is offered on them?

What is the weight rating for them? Can they be used with the Ertiga?(Sorry for going OT)

PS:I think the make is LENSO and not LENZO.
Lenso it is. Sorry about the mistake[:)].

Alloys for sedans differ to that of SUV/UV in their width. I have posted alloys for Sedans only. But I think these alloys will suit ertiga too as ertiga is based on swift platform only.

Warranty offered by Lens are lifetime replacement warranty in case of manufacturing defects. The alloys from Lenso have awesome finish and would stand apart from usual alloys that's found in shops like EVO, GTR, ONYX, Veloche etc. Cost wise also they are vfm if purchased from right dealer. In dealers in Kerala they charge a premium of 10-15k for set of 4 alloys because lens are premium alloys( that's what the dealer told me) for example lens Conquista 4 alloys was quoted 50k by a dealer in trivandrum but quoted 35k by a distributor in Delhi.

Sankar

Yes, you are right as the finish is top notch and one can easily tell the difference in alloy. I can stretch my budget upto 25k for 15 inches if i will find the one. But my main concern is to find the geniune one as there are fake ones in the market which looks like same as original. BTW are you considering 17 inches for your dezire?

Yes I am considering 17" alloys for my dzire. I am totally into the looks and design of Lenso Conquistador 4. I very well know these alloys are meant for much bigger cars and they start at 17" and goes up to 20". I really love them. For 25k you will surely get 15" premium alloys from Lenso samurai series.

And what about suspension? Do you have to change it too to get 17 inches alloys. What is the chance of suspension damage after getting 17 inches?
I think suspension might get damaged using 17" just need to check how much will stock suspension last with 17" alloys. If it can last for atleast 2 years I would be grateful as I am planning to change suspension to blistein b6.

I was not talking about the looks. But the Ertiga would weigh more than the swift fully loaded. So the weight per wheels would be higher.Hence the question.

As for the 17" rims, if it doesn't foul with the wheel wells you will be good.Alternatively you can buy low profile tires and keep the overall diameter the same

Weight difference between Ertiga and dire is just 100kg. So I think that won't be an issue.

I am planning to check put 205/45 R17 which is very low profile tire and might suit my dzire.

Fully loaded it would be more.Fully loaded car can cause the alloys to crack.Even tires have a max load limit on them.So probably the rims too have the same.

I have seen lenso samurai series used in car's like cruze which has kerb weight of 1700kg so I don't thing it might be an issues. Tires for ertiga zdi are same as dzire and swift zdi 185/65 R15 so I don't think their will be an issue on using these alloys.

I think ertiga will have load of 2 extra persons as it is 7 seater as compared to dezire which is 5 seater. Rest all will remain same as luggage and all. Will it effect the load and can cause any harm on alloy??? I think it is not an issue to get the lenso in ertiga.

jarpickle was speaking about the weight ratings of the alloys that i had posted. SUV/UV have higher weight rating compared to that of alloys designed for sedan because SUV/UV typically weigh in excess of 2-2.5 tonnes like Innova, Xylo etc and sedans weigh in range from 1100-1800kgs. But in case of Ertiga which weighs around 1200kgs will probably weigh 1600kg max and i suppose these Lenso alloys can handle weight of Ertiga with ease. Also these alloys are designed keeping in mind excess weight loads that they might have to endure.

@SankarNarayanan:There is no way to contact them. The message portal on the website doesn't work and the email has a postmaster error.
I agree with your arguments Sankar, but I have seen cracked alloys and hence my questions.
Ps:The kerb weight of the Ertiga is 1760Kgs.Loaded with people it will be more.
I dont understand the warranty, what if the cracked alloy causes a major accident and the lives of the people in the vehicle.Replacing the alloys wheels would not do any good in that case. That being said, I have seen a lot of people using Lenso. But its always good to understand the warranty terms and have some actual reviews of the product from people who have used it.

@himalayan3009:Get some user reviews on the alloys that you intend to purchase and get a legit bill and warranty.Even if it means spending a little bit more.

Still wish AURA was making alloy wheels. It was good to have an Indian manufacturer on the scene.

Kerb weight of Ertiga is 1760?[surprise] I have an Ertiga specs sheet from Maruti Dealer and it says kerb weight of 1260kg. Info from Autocar India website also shows kerb weight around 1200kg.

Maruti Ertiga review, test drive | Review | Autocar India

Let me check with my friend who is working as SA in Maruti Dealership in my city on alloys for Ertiga. I seeing the specs i think it will be ok with Lenso alloys.
