Thanks for suggestion.

free accessories from MGA:-
1) Wheel covers
2) Mud flaps ( still didn't got from the dealer)
3) Floor mat
4) Idol
5) Steering cover
6) Perfume (worst ever will buy from godrej :) )
Want to buy:-

1) Art leather seat cover with good color combination.
2) Rear up spoiler
3) Body cover (already bought @890 Rs.)
4) Teflon and Anti-rust coating. (Dupont or 3M )
5) ICE setup
6) Alloy wheel( maybe later :) )

1)Go to Roadstar ( on anwarsah road connecter , just before the flyover ) and meet Arindom , they make great skin fit art leather seatcovers and its fully customizable .. any color combi or any design u tell them , they will make . The best part about their seat covers are fittings . It takes around 3/4 hours for his boys to fit these covers and boy they are well fitted !! Now the cost depends on which material you choose ranging from 3k-6k.
2)That I think wont be readily available and depends on ur color also.
4) Go for 3M
5) Whats your budget ,

Got Liqui Moly Anti-Corrosive Underbody treatment(Black) from Maruti Authorised service center @1190/- INR with 3 years warranty and free checkup upto 3 years. Quite reasonable I must say. Will post the pics later. Also got an warranty card from them.

And another question, "is Teflon coating is essential?" Some says it preserves the original paint from small scratches and some says its affects the original paint. Which one is true? Please suggest?

Thank You.

The purpose of Teflon is mainly to protect the body from weather and easy to re-paint if the body gets dents or scratches.
Teflon is recommended for metallic colors and it is a waste to apply for white because white is a non-metallic color, so you won't see any effect after is has been applied.

I suggest you to go with Jayadev's opinion, waxing your car once in two/three weeks is more than enough.

My Alto is dark in color(metallic blue) and i just wax it up twice a month, the effect is good and it gives the OE shine.

About 1st mandatory servicing, One Auto(Dealer) charged me Rs. 1K for engine oil and oil filter change its a mandatory replacement as written in owners booklet. And we also opted for Anti-rust coating its costed me around 1190/- which is very reasonable.
So, total cost of 1st servicing= 1000+1190= 2190 INR/-

Here's some photo of my white wonder in workshop. [evil]

oil change if 1st service? thats strange. for nano its once in every 10K Kms as mentioned in service book but its good to change in every 5k. i guess its similar for other cars too.

Is it just me or the alto headlamps designed to stare at others ?
I was like.. what do you looking at ? lol

Anyways, don't take it offense. I'm an ex-alto owner and i see this design much improved than previous and looks good too. At least lets see something new on road.

My best wishes to you and Gorgeous White.

Cheers!

Hi I am Hemanta and new member of this forum, so if I am violating any rule please forgive me. I just wanted to share my experience with alto 800 with you guys. I bought it last month and crossed 600 km. 1st service is due in few days.
I am loving it so much, its easy to drive..super smooth gear. I am from Pune and did weekend trip to lavasa hill station, it was fun driving this car. Mileage 19km/l till now, which I feel good enough considering I am new driver.

Hello Hemanta, welcome to TAI and congrats for your new Alto800 [clap], how about starting a separate ownership thread on your car, we will have another 800 ownership review as well.

BTW what model did you buy and which color did you choose?

Hello Hemanta and welcome to TAI. Alto 800 is indeed smooth to drive, the gear box is without any vibration as it comes with cable shift technology. Mileage is great as I am getting 21/L without AC on [clap]
Will wait for your ownership review with lots of pics.

Thank You Guys. I bought the Silky Silver LXI model and I would like to suggest every one to go for LXI as it has all necessary things like power window, power steering, body color bumper etc.
These days I am busy with few things which went wrong from dealer side and few things from accessory shop. I know its a new car in the market and all these these things bound to happen. I hope it will get sorted out soon. I will write whatever happened starting from deciding which car to buy soon. Please give me few days time.
