just like maruti have filled the small car segment to T Mahindra seem to be doing the same in Compact SUVs.

Maruti have Alto, Ritz, WagonR, Stingray, Swift and Now Baleno in Small car segment
Mahindra have TUV300, Quanto, New Quanto, S101,

why does maruti have many many small cars all at overlapping price points-between them they mop up ~50% of car buyers. Perhaps M&M feel two sub4meter ?SUVs will do the same for them. Wonder how they will price relative to the TUV.
Perhaps they will be the in increasing order terms of price?

I Thought like other car manufacturer, Mahindra will launch Facelift Quanto in Auto Expo 2016. But whole cake is taken by XUV AERO Concept. Now need to wait for months to see facelift Quanto, as Mahindra will take few more months on testing.

This All-New Quanto looks a lot more beefier & solid than before. I think this new design will do well. The KUV100 was a complete disappointment for me, especially the diesel engine's power delivery. Lookswise too I personally did not like KUV100 from most angles, except maybe the front.

The new Quanto on the other hand has lot more potential, thanks mainly the much more modern looks. What do we need in a SUV of any size? Good Looks, Respectable space and good torquey Diesel engine.

The facelift is just a facelift as the rear remains the same? There are lots of similarity with the KUV 100 too.This one may be much boxier and powerful than KUV.

Canto is not ready yet,they had not displayed it in Auto Expo.M& M are going to position it between Kuv100 & TUV300.

What surprised me about the new Name is that Mahindra has skipped using a name ending with 'O'. But happy that this vehicle is being launched later this month. But surprisingly Mahindra did not present this vehicle at the Auto Expo!!

Mahindra NUVOSPORT; a cousin of the Ford Ecosport? Naah! Definitely not!
But I am sure people will get confused regarding the names.
Certainly not as bad looking as the Quanto, but surely not as good as even the Vitara Brezza; leave alone the Nexon and Ecosport.
Good effort in SUV-fying the MPV-ish Quanto. All the Best Mahindra!
But still, the interior design remain the same as before and there seems to be more beige, which is NOT GOOD AT ALL!
They have to learn Interior design from Tata I guess.
I don't understand one thing; what is the purpose of the TUV if this comes to the market with higher levels of equipment, but same size? TUV is based on the Scorpio while this one is based on the Xylo.

As a company Mahindra don't want to close any options for consumers, so they are launching Quanto as Nuvosport. They are going Maruti way, which is good for mahindra.
I never hated Quanto nor liked it!!
Some people say Mahindra is taking design ideas from Ecosport (yes name is definitely stolen from Ecosport) but I personally feel they are using design ideas from New Gen Scorpio & XUV5OO.

Lets see what this New product based on old failure will do in the market.

I guess Nuvosport and TUV will try to cannablise each other. But TUV has much better interiors. looking the pics I guess this quantos new avatar still has similar interiors. (look the two humps one for the dials and other where the AC vents are present pretty much on the similar lines to that of older twin.

The TUV300 has already been partially cannibalised by KUV100. In Feb'16, TUV's volumes were down to under 3000 units. But I think M&M wants to increase the overall volumes of all it's products put together by offering various SUV options to the potential customers.
