Ford Endeavour Facelift to be launched on 22nd February

The new Ford Endeavour Facelift will be launched on the 22nd of this month. The SUV has already started reaching dealerships and bookings for the popular SUV have also commenced. As it is a facelift, the changes made on the car are quite subtle, both on the exterior and the interior. The interiors get some new features while the exteriors also receive a few minor tweaks to enhance the butch look of the SUV. A new light brown colour option will also be on offer with the Endeavour facelift.

This feels like just a minor refresh and nothing major going on here,
1. No 10 Speed Torque converter AT
2. No BS VI compliant 2.0 Ecoblue twin turbo diesel
3. No Hybrid or Petrol Hybrid

SO most probably will just shine in sales for a month or two and again subside to sub 500 numbers per month

New Ford Endeavour to get more features – Lower price tag

Talking about the updates, there are minor changes to the exterior design. While the front looks marginally different with a sleeker grille the side profile looks updated thanks to the new set of 20-inch alloy wheels. As far as the rear is concerned, there are no changes on the design front.

Though Ford won’t be updating the interiors, it will be bringing in new creature-comfort features for customers. Some of the major feature additions include a push-button start, passive key-less entry and a foot-activated power tail-gate. International markets have also received an inclusion of Autonomous Emergency Braking with Vehicle and Pedestrian detection, but in all likelihood, it won’t be part of the feature list in India.

2019 Ford Endeavour (facelift) spied inside-out [Update]

The latest spy shots confirm that the 3.2-litre TDCi diesel engine is continuing in our market. It produces 200 PS and 470 Nm of torque and comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.2-litre TDCi diesel engine that develops 160 PS and 420 Nm of torque is said to remain the entry-level option. This engine was available with a standard 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 6-speed automatic transmission initially, but Ford had discontinued the former at a later stage. With the facelift, the company is bringing back the low-cost transmission option.

India-spec Ford Endeavour facelift officially revealed

Ford has revealed the refreshed India-spec Endeavour ahead of the model’s launch on February 22, 2019. As with the international model – badged as the Everest in some markets – the Ford Endeavour facelift gets minor cosmetic updates, such as a revised grille and bumpers, along with new design 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the most notable change is to the upholstery; the beige and brown cabin from the pre-facelift SUV has been replaced by a black and beige colour scheme. Other updates include the addition of more kit such as standard keyless-entry-and-go, puddle lamps and a smart boot opening system.

If its going to be priced lesser than the outgoing model with better features, thats a good place to start for new Endeavor buyers, but what about the ones who already purchased the Endeavor, I feel Ford should give the current customers free extended warranty of free service packages to balance the value quotient

2019 Ford Endeavour launch price Rs 28.2 L for 4×2 MT, Rs 33 L for 4×4 AT

2019 Ford Endeavour has been launched in India. Unlike older Ford Endeavour, which was available in three variants, Trend, Titanium 2.2L and Titanium 3.2L; the new one is only offered in two trims – Titanium and Titanium+. Entry level Trend variant has been discontinued.

2.2L D 4×2 MT Titanium – Rs 28.2 lakhs
2.2L D 4×2 AT Titanium+ – Rs 30.6 lakhs
3.2L D 4×4 AT Titanium+ – Rs 33 lakhs

Got a chance to see and drive the facelift at the Great Endeavour Drive in NCR. The ride felt a bit more soft than before with the bumps on the track feeling better cushioned.

When comparing the build data from the Ford's ETIS database between the 2017, 2018 and Facelift builds, it highlights some other changes which I am not sure are actual or only notational.

With the facelift, Ford has also added a couple of additional accessories like Snorkel, all-weather mats and bug deflector.
