@Ranger, when did you buy a Lumia ?? which model and why you have replaced touch pad so soon ?? This pic seems to be really good buddy

I bought it around 2 n 1/2 month ago, My phone's touch matrix suddenly started returning wrong location when you touch, I hard reset it once, twice and many time it didn't work, so I got to know that something went wrong with the hardware and nothing to do about software,
I submitted my 1 n 1/2 month old phone to service center and I got back it after 10 working days and now it is working fine.

Hmm, it was little surprising for me that you bought a windows phone as you were the hardcore user of Android. BTW which model it is ?? is it a 720 ?

Everything is all the same except Smart Camera, storage bug fix.

And the Glance screen shows pixelated.

The Wi-Fi icon on the top doesn't show the exact range, instead it shows full all the time. I expected this to be fixed.

The scroll lag still exists.

On Twitter Nokia has announced an event on the 22nd October, the same date recently suggested as the launch date of the Nokia Lumia 1520 AKA Bandit.

The above picture accompanied the tweet, but it is not clear if there is any connection between the imaginary and the product set to be unveiled.

Another possibility may be that Nokia is going to release a Windows RT tablet, though once again the picture provides little clue to this.

We have seen the IDC trickling out regional data over the last few weeks, and today it is India’s turn.

The IDC revealed that Windows Phone has taken 5.6% market share in India, largely on the strength of Nokia’s smartphones, which had 5% of the market.

This was enough to overtake Blackberry and iOS, but of course still a distant second to the dominant Android mobile OS.

The Nokia Lumia 520 in particular was one of the main drivers for Windows Phone, being less than 10,000 INR, the sweet spot in which 67% of Indian smartphones are sold.

“Windows Phone powered Nokia Lumia devices have achieved a striking growth in their volumes within a very short time since their launch in India. With new Windows Phone devices getting launched at short intervals, we expect them to continue on this growth trajectory,” said Manasi Yadav, Senior Market Analyst, Client Devices, IDC India.

Microsoft in particular was pleased.

“Less than ten months back, when we launched Windows Phone 8 in India, we had set ourselves the goal of being the second most widely used smartphone platform in India, and we are excited to have achieved this milestone so quickly,” said Vineet Durani, Director – Windows Phone Business Group, Microsoft Corporation India.

It will remain to be seen if Windows Phone can grow from a niche second, like Mac OS on the desktop, to a strong contender, but it is certain, after Microsoft’s purchase of Nokia’s handset division, that the company will be throwing a lot of resources into the fight to make that possible.

I believe Lumia 720 will be a better choice. Or you can also compare it with other phones as well.
