Re: Nokia Lumia Series Smartphones Discussions and Experiences
Thankyou for your reply Raja, yes i do agree that microsoft is tobe blamed here. I did went to the nokia priority store that was near by my home, i guess they were more puzzled then i am right now taking this issue
.
For nokia music i was told that the original buyer might have registered and that original registeration would only work, so i have asked from the buyer to give his id which he registered on his handset, he too is thinking as he isnt sure of nokia music he did registered or not, now my query is that i did a factory reset before using the handset so wont it ask me altogether new id to create to use the nokia apps, and i did but not working as the picture i shared with you.
Now with music folder i asked him and he said that connect to pc and copy the folders mains as well as subs in music and video and picture and so on as you want andd thats exactly how it is, reshuffled it again, and still the music files arent exactly as i want them to.
.
Now i downloaded one app for ringtone and also i had some collections of ringtone which i copied in the same folder as where that ringtone was saved but on handset it doesnt show rather shows in music directory.
Will check out with another outlet or with my known seller if he couldd be of help to solve this things.
To be honest actually Microsoft is to be blamed here , since the software devlopment is their job .
Like you I was using a samsung wave 2 .
I never used any nokia phone ever before in my life , my first nokia phone was lumia 800 .
it makes sense buying nokia phones because they are the ones who offer the best windows experience along with their free usefull apps. Which samsung and htc dosent do , but their phones too are equally well built .
I first came across the windows phone in Singapore in a electronic store and I liked the interface a lot it was fresh and new , guess what I bought a htc trophy phone in London ( windows was not even launched in India and the store too ) the phone dint even have copy and paste can you imagine ? But then iam not a power user like nitink so I was ok with it .
Then came 7.2 update , then 7.5 mango then 7.8 and now the 8 .
Microsoft does many things in a unique way and does that beautifully and like you said also misses on some core functions like file manager and volume of apps .
Some people want a notification center , but the whole idea of windows phone is " glance " means whichever core apps you find imp put the tiles of those apps on the start screen and they will dynamically in real time give you updates like notifications .
Windows is not perfect or the most advanced system , but so is android and iOS too .
You please go to nokia store and ask them about the nokia music thing , iam sure it is some small problem which maybe we are not understanding well to solve it . And ask your other queries also which sometimes iam not able to understand them . Maybe they have some solution to that too .
