Got it from the accessory store here, loved it actually i also asked him if he has the same for my S3 as well, superb it feels to hold.Brought it for 200 bucks.
Yes i did registered and checked it again for the registeration and it shows registered but when i go down to download music from nokia music it doesnt download and rather shows this sign everytime i try.

Guys, i understand this platform is different but then few things which i dont understand why cant microsoft can make it easier atleast the file manager.
Yes i loved the Lumia range and the screen, camera, touch response everything nokia put together in their range from 520 till latest variant, but then copy paste of files, video playback,albums name, sync of the copy paste format.It all shows on the laptop via its auto software connection, but we cannot see the file manager, edit, copy paste within the handset and also bit complicated for some one like my wife as a user compared to android.

Many users like you complain of a file manager for a windows and iOS phone its true , infact you will see many request for the same on windows phone blog also specially from guys who have migrated from android .
Hope Microsoft listens and does something about it for users like you . Tommorow is the build conference lets see what Microsoft had in store .

i think there is some issue with shipment from china.
friend had done a proxy order for me for the OBD scanner a month ago and i have not got it.
he says , it may take more than a month since the customs and post keeps it for weeks with them.

Absolutely i mean thats the basics one would be looking for in their handset as of today with the range and features available in market from lot many manufacturers.This is my personal view taking nokia that this small little things does puts off many prospective buyers from nokia again.Even this is the attitude i saw with many stores while checking out handset for my wife, that nokia yes they got what market is looking for but yet not there with such things.
My old video files in samsung wave which can play in any damn given handset even does on my old nokia x2 handset but does not work on Lumia 720, i mean this small things puts you off for the other superb things nokia gave in.
I hope and wish they do solve this thing in better and sooner way.

if you dont get it within 28 days escalate it and ask for refund. DO NOT let 30 days pass, else you will be at their mercy.

To be honest actually Microsoft is to be blamed here , since the software devlopment is their job .
Like you I was using a samsung wave 2 .
I never used any nokia phone ever before in my life , my first nokia phone was lumia 800 .
it makes sense buying nokia phones because they are the ones who offer the best windows experience along with their free usefull apps. Which samsung and htc dosent do , but their phones too are equally well built .
I first came across the windows phone in Singapore in a electronic store and I liked the interface a lot it was fresh and new , guess what I bought a htc trophy phone in London ( windows was not even launched in India and the store too ) the phone dint even have copy and paste can you imagine ? But then iam not a power user like nitink so I was ok with it .
Then came 7.2 update , then 7.5 mango then 7.8 and now the 8 .
Microsoft does many things in a unique way and does that beautifully and like you said also misses on some core functions like file manager and volume of apps .
Some people want a notification center , but the whole idea of windows phone is " glance " means whichever core apps you find imp put the tiles of those apps on the start screen and they will dynamically in real time give you updates like notifications .
Windows is not perfect or the most advanced system , but so is android and iOS too .
You please go to nokia store and ask them about the nokia music thing , iam sure it is some small problem which maybe we are not understanding well to solve it . And ask your other queries also which sometimes iam not able to understand them . Maybe they have some solution to that too .

The seller has sent information saying that the mobile cover shipment details missing and told me either I choose to cancel and refund or allow them to ship one again. Then I have opted for refund, they have already effected it, now I do not know where the money will get refunded as I did not opened a paypal account that time and finally opened one today was little time taking giving all the information of credit card,bank account, bank ifsc, pancard details. I did not understand why they ask so many details. So don't know how this refund is going to come back.

money gets refunded to your paypal and back to your bank account linked with paypal on the same day itself.
it is a fool proof method so you have nothing to worry
