Hi All,

I just got the delivery of the Nokia Lumia 620. One problem is the sim to be used is Micro sim and not a normal sim. I found ways to cut it manually. But i'm a bit worried if it will be fine to cut it manually.

As anyone tried to do it themselves?

How did you cut your sim?

Go in any shop related to phones they will, do it for you free , if your service is from vodaphone they give u free .

+1, Vodafone micro sim is free and it shall be activated within 20 mins. Make sure you transfer sim contacts before it goes off.

Hi carfreak, i doubt my dad would like a 4.3in screen and i am afraid he woudn't like 720 or 820. So was going to chose between 520/620. But since my dad uses a phone for minimum of 5years i want to gift him the latest product which looks stunning and also is VFM.

Hi breeze, what's the difference between L520 and L620? I am more inclined to L520 as its more VFM product than L620. L520 costs 11k in Flipkart and L620 costs 14k. Also display while L520 has 4in IPS display. Confused between 620 and 520 [confused]. Also does 520 come in cyan? I want to gift a Lumia phone with cyan color as it really looks cool.

congrats pras for your phone [;)] anyways , from where i purchased he had a small instrument and it did the job in a second. just go to a shop like raja suggested give him 5-10 rupees or maybe for free he'll do that for you.

520 won't have secondary camera , no camera flash. no NFC go for the 520 if he doesn't wants to have these features.

My dad won't use features like secondary camera, or even camera so unavailability of flash won't be a deal breaker. Definitely no for NFC which i am afraid he will never understand it's purpose. My main issue with L520 is does it come in Cyan color?

Thanks allhyundaicars. I have checkd ebay and flipkart and in ebay their are no reliable seller who sell cyan Lumia 520. I have checked the link from appus which is a link to Flipkart but it's only pre order. Do you know any online shop which has cyan phone available?

The 520 is not readily available officially.
So all you are going to get is preorder.
Flipkart is giving an 8gb card free along.

I have heard Lumia will be available on by April end.[confused] I was planning to gift the phone to my dad next week. Now i think that won't be possible.
