A remote adapter is needed from Pioneer for the specific car.Check if the steering wheel comes with the adapter.

Hi Folks,

The cost of original Dzire VDi/ZDi power windows came at 8000 for all 4 doors power motors and winders and switches. But each door pad costs 2500Rs. So total cost of migrating to power windows which comes inbuilt in Dzire VDi/ZDi is 18,000

Checked Steering mounted Audio display. have to replace the whole steering to ZDi spec which obviously comes with Airbag. Still cost of Steering came at 2100Rs, Audio switches
1000Rs and Airbag costs 5500. Total assembly costs 9000Rs. Never thought of airbag that came in ZDi. So both plans dropped due to one reason - Cost of mods.

I am using DLAA Fog lamp kit compatible for Maruti Dzire. It comes with a 35w bulbs. I would suggest keeping your fog lamps at 35w or else the reflector will get blackened out quickly by using a 55w bulbs.

Why don't you get just the steering along with the audio controls? So that will come to Rs. 3100 which isn't too expensive right? The airbag won't work in your car because it doesn't have sensors and stuff plus retrofitting airbags isn't a good idea at all. You can still have the ZDi steering wheel along with the audio switches which should be good enough? Or is the airbag also a part of the steering and they don't sell it without the airbag? Another option is going to some junk yard in TVM (if you know of any) and seeing if they have crashed ZDi with intact steering and getting it from there.

Vipin i dropped the plans mainly because even if i buy ZDi steering, i won't be able to integrate the controls with my existing Pioneer HU. Only JVC, Kenwood and Blaunkupt HU support steering mounted control. Since i don't like any of the above manufacturers and their HU i dropped the plans as integrating Pioneer HU with control is a very tedious process.

Now thinking of upgrading the stock alternator. Went to TVS Lucas and sales person their didn't have any idea on alternators. Will be going back again to speak to a senior manager on alternators their. Now a days very busy with B2 Audio promotions and marketing. Once demo car rolls out will take a week off from this hectic schedule and upgrade some things in my car

Nice to hear from you. Yes unfortunately i can't login like i used to now a days. Demo car will be ready in 15 days time. My first dealer will open his shop i a month or so. Can you come there?
