No need to explain or convince them any thing, a owner is open to buy insurance from any body and there is no restriction to buy with the dealer. Just buy a insurance and provide it for the delivery formalities[:)]

No such rule exists as far as I am aware. Firmly stand by your decision and contact the dealership manager or Mahindra if the situation gets out of the hand.

they must be forcing for anti rust treatment underbody and a paint protection coating.

AFAIK all these are not required, IF you are going to take good care of your car i.e. park it in the shade whenever possible and a wash and wax job with good microfibre cloth at least once a month.

I havent got any of these coatings.

thanks for the rocket speed reply.
I've told them to skip the coatings for now. amps available are Sony and I feel like going for 4 channel amp as it will give neat flexiblity in future.

really bored sitting here. they're gone to bring car from warehouse. 11 am.

got the vehicle finally. went to rto and got vehicle inspected, however documents and number will be given tomorrow :-(:-(
got reverse Cam fitted. had to splice the rear tail lamp wiring for the same. now we need to 'activate' the Cam from Laptop! wow.!
will look for amp after lunch.

this dealer Can be termed'miser' at best. there's nothing wrong, but there's no'grand and special' feeling that xuv owners have mentioned.

there was no fuel given. filled full 70.2 litres. :-(
there were no gifts, or nor a simple ribbon that's on new cars. :'(

seems sad, but i think dealer would be to blame here.

why have you still persisted with him in buying those accessories if he is not offering any good deals along?
