I was not having this practice. But recently slowly started following it. I make sure the front seat co-passenger to do wear it for sure. Slowly I will make sure even my rear seaters also do the same.
I will buckle up always. I got too habited to it that now, I am getting stomach pain without them even in my parking lot. My mom, brother, and other relatives don't buckle up but my father and me will definetely buckle up.
Seatbelts are a very important part of safety and they protect and save your lifes! So I advise each and everyone here to buckle up.
I always wear seat belt no matter how much distance I have to travel. Many times when I have to remove my car when the person has to clean my parking place I buckle up for that 10 mins inside socitey as well
I can't drive without seatbelt. If I don't put it on, I feel like I am falling off the seat.
It's mandatory for everyone sitting at front co-passenger seat(except few elderly whom I can't convince).
I always use seatbelts. It is also mandatory for the front seat passenger. Once I asked one of my elder brothers that whether I drop him back to the home for not wearing the seatbelt.
In our country some people think that seatbelts to be used to save hundred rupees from the cops. Surprisingly they don't think that their lives are costlier than Rs.100/=.
Till about three months back, I did not pay any heed to seat belts. Sometimes for style maarna I wore them, but when I read about how much risk they reduce, I started wearing them. Heck, I even took out the hooks for rear seat belts which on demand were under the seat (They were a pain in the bum when sat on).
My car does not even have the seatbelt chime, neither are seat belts mandatory in my city. Wish they were:

I do(I care for my safety)
My mom and Dad dont.
Every time I fight with them over this issue.
I just CANT convince them.
Once I start the engine, I buckle up immediately. I always insist for my Co-driver, Rear passenger to wear the seat belt always.
Even my 6 year old daughter does it always. (But she cleverly removes when she sleeps flat in the rear seat). She teaches other also to wear the seat belt (whenever her mom misses).
If I unbuckle the seat belt, the the engine is OFF.
I try to wear seatbelts most of the time when I get on the roads and suggest it to the co-passenger as well, same way as my Dad used to ask me always when I went out with him, and really don't feel it as a deterrent in anyway during driving. I'm not sure if it is or isn't mandate for the co-passenger, but IMO it should be compulsory.
As much safety feature a car may equipped with. Abs ,ebd ,esp, traction control, etc without seat-belt they are not worth .So seat belt has its own specific importance .
