Sedans always look gorgeous in lighter shades. Our previous cars were white so I wanted to avoid it. I was originally looking for dual tone silver but it seems it has been discontinued. I’ll do it aftermarket now.

Yes. Please do let me know.

Thanks. Can you share some actual images of the sunshades (especially rear). Just want to check the fitting as I had trouble with Fiesta’s rear sunshades falling almost everytime the door opened.

I don't have a photograph right now but these are 04 pieces. Will not cover the rear quarter glass. Gets fitted perfectly in the window recess.

Thanks for sharing the images. These are non-magnetic sunshades and do not cover the rear door quarter glass. So I’ll have to look for another option. Meanwhile, I’ve ordered Elegant Floor Mats and Fabtec Car Cover.

These mats I have ordered are GFX Bucket fit mats. These are very good quality and very easy to clean. Only downside is, they leave some areas uncovered viz. area on the sides of seat rail. The best thing about these mats is that they are like a tray(3D) and don't let the dust spread. Just lift them and through all the sand and dust outside. A simple wipe with a wet/dry cloth and they look like new. Same with the trunk, I did not want the trunk felt to get damaged due to any sharp objects. These mats are built to last for the life of the car. A similar product is provided by pharaoh brand but i liked GFX better. One more reason going for this was that it covered the rear centre tunnel.
Now i am searching for slip on type artificial leather seat covers, which are just put on and secured with straps/laces/strings. I do not want to touch the original seat in any way viz, removing/stitching/tempering etc. something like this:
Put on seat covers

Any heads up on this will be appreciated.

That’s true but for ₹3,747, I find them a bit costlier than Skoda’s 3D mats which are available for ₹2,600.

It’s been a while I’ve seen any branded slip-on seat covers. Probably because most people prefer bucket-type. You may try searching at local accessories stores. Note that slip-on seat covers won’t have a factory-like fitting. There’s no harm in choosing bucket-type seat covers as long as they’re durable. I can safely recommend AutoForm in that case. I’ve had them on Fiesta and they’re still holding strong after 11-years.

I’ve received the Fabtec car cover for Škoda Slavia much earlier than expected. Probably due to local shipping within Delhi NCR. Sharing quick initial impressions:
  • I didn’t opt for a high-end cover as the car mostly remains in a covered parking and the cover is used more or less to prevent the dust from accumulating.
  • Main reason for choosing Fabtec is that it’s reasonably priced and I had an excellent experience with it earlier for Ford Fiesta cover which I’m using since 2017.
  • Fabtec cover for Škoda Slavia costed thousand rupees, which is somewhat similar to that of Fiesta back in 2019. However, there’s now a noticeable difference in the quality.
  • This cover is light and plasticky and doesn’t feel as durable as earlier one. It’ll still serve the purpose fine for me but anyone looking for a heavy-duty usage, consider something else.
  • These are only first impressions and I’d love to be proven wrong. I’ll keep posted in future. Good thing is that Fabtec provided a cover bag and microfiber cloth included in the package.

Today, I’ve received the Elegant Cord Black Carpet Floor Mats for Škoda Slavia. As strange as it might sound, I had shortlisted them much before finalizing the car itself.
  • These are simple non 3D mats and available in multiple color options but I love the simple full black design. Price ranges from ₹1,400 – ₹2,000.
  • The full-rubber mats like the one offered by Škoda Genuine Accessories, although are more durable and practical, but I don’t find them very premium looking.
  • Then there are more expensive options like Pharaoh that exceed ₹8,000, which I may consider in future. However, for now, these mats look decent, fit perfectly and serve the purpose well.

Anyone knows how to erase the white text imprinted on the number plate holder? Tried using thinner but it didn’t work. I’m looking to put a TAI sticker there.

Do the non-magnetic sunshades create noise when the car is running? I’m looking for sunshades preferably set of six (including the quarter glass). I saw them on a Slavia and it looked neat but unable to find them online.

I figured out that the sunshades with quarter glass piece are available as a part of Škoda Genuine Accessories.

I also recently got the mudflaps installed to prevent unwanted mud splashes on the bumpers as seen in the image below.
