Two quick updates:
  • I always found Slavia’s ORVMs having insufficient coverage, especially after getting used to long mirrors in Fiesta. So, installed a set of adjustable blindspot mirrors worth ₹200.
  • My car’s two wheel lug nut covers have gone missing. While the possibility of theft can’t be ruled out, they might have also fallen off somewhere. Any information about online availability or the part number?

I’m looking for sunshades preferably set of six (including the quarter glass). I saw them on a Slavia and it looked neat but unable to find them online.
I have bought the magnetic sunblinds from Škoda Genuine Accessories which also includes a set for the quarter glass. The fitting is perfect but they’re definitely overpriced at ₹3.2K.

An editing effort to make Slavia appear cooler with black roof and smoked taillamps. Do let me know how it looks.

Noisy three-pot motor is one of the major turn-offs in Slavia 1.0L. It’s more of a concern on the outside than the inside of the car. The Hood Insulation was in my bucket list which I’ve purchased for ₹940. You can’t expect the car to become significantly quiet with hood insulation alone but it has definitely toned-down the annoying engine clatter. It has also helped to contain the heat on hood top as well as aesthetically improved the look.

If this is how it would look in reality, then I'll vote for getting this done except for the extra pain to get this change documented by the RTO team so there are no hassles down the road.

Looks stunning after the edit.

I do intend to get the roof wrapped in Black in near future. I’ll keep the taillamps stock though.

Škoda has released Front Parking Sensors for Slavia and Kushaq as an official accessory. They’re available for ₹7,300 and ₹7,700 respectively.
