As indicated by the name, the new R15S is based on the Version 3.0 model, and it will be sold alongside the YZF-R15 V4 model in India. The motorcycle will only be available in the Racing Blue colour and is priced at ₹ 1,57,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. announced an update to the Yamaha YZF-R15S V3 in India and introduced a new ‘Matte Black' colour to its unibody seat variant at Rs. 1,60,900 (ex-showroom, India). The new paint scheme is in addition to the already available Racing Blue colour on the Yamaha R15 S. According to Yamaha, the new colour was selected after carrying out market research to register feedback of all young and new customers.

The bike also continues to come with the fully digital Multi-Function LCD instrument cluster with gear shift indicator, twin LED headlamps, LED taillamp, and Deltabox frame, aluminum swingarm, and side stand with engine cut-off switch.
