Yamaha FZ-X Gets Chrome & Metallic Black Colors

Yamaha FZ-X has been introduced in the all-new Chrome and Metallic Black color options:

• The first 100 online bookings for these variants will also receive a Casio G-Shock watch upon delivery of the motorcycle.
• Yamaha FZ-X in Chrome color is available at a price of ₹1,39,700 (Ex.showroom, Delhi) while the Metallic Black will retail for ₹1,36,200 (Ex.showroom, Delhi).
• Yamaha FZ-X will continue to offer its existing set of features, including a 149 CC engine with 12.4 PS power @ 7,250 RPM and 13.3 Nm peak torque @ 5500 RPM.

Yamaha FZ-X to get hybrid tech, TFT display; launch likely at Auto Expo 2025

Yamaha was the first brand that introduced hybrid tech to the Indian commuter class with its Fascino and Ray ZR scooters, and now, the FZ-X 150cc commuter bike will also get that technology. The FZ-S is likely to be updated with new colours, and both bikes are likely to be launched at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

The hybrid tech on the updated Yamaha FZ-X will be courtesy of an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), which will provide a small electric boost to bump up the maximum output of the bike. As a result, two other features that will be bundled into the FZ-X will be start/stop tech and a silent start. The FZ-X’s air-cooled, 149cc, single-cylinder engine makes 12.4hp and 13.3Nm, so expect a small increment on the updated model.
