Honor Play Ultraviolet colour variant launched in India


The new variant comes with a price tag of Rs 19,999 and it will be available of purchase from Amazon starting October 03, 2018.

The Honor Play features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset with ARM Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The device comes with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

LG beats Apple, Samsung and Huawei to launch a smartphone with highest number of cameras yet.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440, and a notch that increases the aspect ratio to 19.5:9. Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and option for 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card slot. The V40 ThinQ is priced between $900 and $980 in the US, and will be available on October 18.

Nokia 7.1 with 5.84-inch ‘PureDisplay’ HDR panel, Snapdragon 636 SoC launched


Right on schedule, the Finnish company launched the brand-new Nokia 7.1 at an event in London. Along with the smartphone, two companion audio accessories – Nokia True Wireless Earbuds and Nokia Pro Wireless Earphones – have also been unveiled.

The Nokia 7.1’s highlight is its display. It is the first smartphone to come with ‘PureDisplay’ technology, which ensures higher contrast, and more vibrant colors. It has a 5.84-inch IPS LCD FHD+ notched panel, with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

Nokia 7.1 will be available in selected markets around the world in October itself. The two variants are priced at €299 and €349 respectively

Razer Phone 2 with Chroma logo and Snapdragon 845 launched: Price, Specifications


The Razer Phone 2 has 5.7-inch IGZO LCD panel with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and Razer says 16:9 aspect ratio is still the best for multimedia content. The screen, the company claims, is 50 percent brighter than the one seen on its predecessor and hits a maximum of 580 nits. It also has that fast 120Hz refresh rate, which is yet to be seen on any other smartphone.

The Razer Phone 2 features dual front-powering stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The Phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Nova Launcher and is priced at $799 (around Rs 59,500). It will be available for pre-order starting 12.01AM PST on October 11 and is not likely to come to India.

Huawei Enjoy Max comes with a 7.12-inch screen with FHD+ resolution along with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 along with a 5,000 mAh battery. The company announced two variants of the device, the first with 4GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The base variant is priced at 1,499 Yuan which amounts to Rs 15,983 at the time of writing while the top end variant is priced at 1,69 Yuan which is at Rs 18,115 at the time of writing.

The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus comes with 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution. The device is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710 SoC while running on a 4,000mAh battery. Similar to the Enjoy Max, Enjoy 9 Plus also comes with 4GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage for the base model and 128GB internal storage for the top of the line variant.
