Sony Xperia XZ2 with Snapdragon 845 SoC, 4K HDR, 960fps slow-motion video recording capabilities launched in India
The Xperia XZ2 will be available to purchase starting August 1 via Sony and select retail stores. The Xperia XZ2 is steeply priced at Rs 72,990 in India. At this price point, the smartphone will compete with the likes Huawei P20 Pro, Oppo Find X, Vivo NEX, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and iPhone 8 Plus to name a few.
Xperia XZ2 comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, and it supports High Dynamic Range with Sony upscaling all content to near HDR for better quality playback. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. A microSD card slot for further expansion is also present.
