The Xperia XZ2 will be available to purchase starting August 1 via Sony and select retail stores. The Xperia XZ2 is steeply priced at Rs 72,990 in India. At this price point, the smartphone will compete with the likes Huawei P20 Pro, Oppo Find X, Vivo NEX, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and iPhone 8 Plus to name a few.

Xperia XZ2 comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display, and it supports High Dynamic Range with Sony upscaling all content to near HDR for better quality playback. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. A microSD card slot for further expansion is also present.

Huawei Nova 3 and Huawei Nova 3i feature design similar to the Huawei P20 Lite with notched displays, thinner chins and a glossy finish at the back. The Qin 1 and the Qin 1S as they’re called will both pack in a 2.8-inch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels below which there’s a T9 keypad. Xiaomi Mi A2 launched in India for Rs 16,999


Xiaomi has finally introduced its second Android One smartphone, the Mi A2, in India. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 16,999 for the 4GB RAM variant, while the price of 6GB RAM variant has not been disclosed. The phone will be exclusively available on Amazon starting from Aug 9 at 12noon.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset along with Adreno 512 GPU, which is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 625 chipset present in the Mi A1. The Mi A2 is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Oddly, Xiaomi has decided to skip the memory slot in this smartphone, so you get no expandable storage option.
