Bro.. I have heard lot of owners of Maestro complaining that mileage is very low ~35 kmpl & plastic quality if you observe up-close is not of good quality compared to Honda, Suzuki, TVS...

Having driven most of them & owning a wego ( less on power), I can say either of activa-i or suzuki lets can serve you equally well...

Dont know about the mileage part but plastic quality is not that great, also you can find rust in new hero vehicles too,I think the quality is not upto the mark.

I was also in search for a good scooter and finally bought Honda Dio. Honestly its powerful enough for me. Also i was told by some of my friends that Maestro uses old gen honda engines that are used on old activa,is it true?

No, Hero uses the new 110 cc engine and it is tweaked for some more power and torque.
Not sure whether it uses HET technology.
Vespa got out due to price!
Now only Suzuki let's vs Dio!!
I got Dio into my list because of Aneesh!
Due to more Power by the engine itself and its lightweight body and power-to-weight ratio
The suzuki let's give the pest engine performance of the all!!!

I was also in dilemma in buying scooter for my wife. I took test drives of Honda Activa, Suzuki Swiss, Suzuki Access, Tvs Jupiter, Hero Maestro, Vespa S.

I graded them accordingly,

1. Vespa S [Out of my budget. Best riding quality and comfort. Superb finish product.]
2. Suzuki Swiss [Powerful. Comfortable. Refined engine.]
3. Tvs Jupiter [Good features. Powerful. Comfortable. Refined engine. Well designed.]
4. Suzuki Access [Powerful. Comfortable. Refined engine. 5 Kg heavier than Swiss]
5. Honda Activa [Front suspension is not that good. Best selling scooter.]
6. Hero Maestro. [Look is not that appealing. Handling is almost similar to Activa]

I choose Suzuki Swiss. Reason for buying,

- 125 cc
- Front suspension
- Refined engine.
- Good looking.
- Good handling.

Is their any serious fault in mahindra scooters

Do include that also,

It has decent power
Mileage is not as bad as any other brand

On what you got confused Quality or performance

If it is price, then rodeo rz is much cheeper than activa, but quality and performance is good
I got confused on Quality.
I have drove my friend's Rodeo RZ and i am OK with Performance
But Quality wise, The Honda is the brand image for Quality and Reliability.
And also, My mom and dad said " As we are having all vehicles for Honda like Hero Honda, Kinetic Honda and those are served us well! I like Rodeo RZ only for its underseat storage. For that, We will buy a half-face helmet and go to our Reliable HONDA'S"
Thats Why!!!

What I would suggest is to take TD of Suzuki Swiss/Access and then the picture would be more clear. The seating posture of Swiss is far good and ergonomically better than any other vehicle in my list mentioned above [except Vespa... which is exceptionally good. [:)]]

As per my view build quality of Swiss/Access is quite ahead in terms of material, paint etc.

Rodeo RZ engine is powerful but the scooter stays back in quality, branding [if you are little brand conscious] and a little on handling. While cornering I found that Swiss/Vespa gives me lot of confidence. Thinking of highway the 125 CC Suzuki engine sounds a little bit peppy and thus puts a plus point in choosing Access.

I heard that Suzuki's ASS is pathetic here in Chennai :(
So, A BIG -NO- to Suzuki.
Please tell me which is the best scooter.
Rodeo RZ (OR) Activa 125.
Personally prefer Rodeo RZ but parents refuse because of Quality and the negative reviews that they heard.
Parents prefer Activa 125 only!
One more Question.
Are Mahindra scooters i.e. Rodeo RZs are available in CSD Canteen?
