Silver Good for family car
Red Good for semi-sperty car like octavia/Polo
Yellow Good for a souped up performance car.

Yellow is good for me too for another reason. I can find lemon in any car park.

I have the habit to forget where I park my car. And lemon and banana (my Seicento) are so small that they are sometimes hidden behind other cars.

for me it depend on what kind of car i am buying. If i am buying an SUV most probably it will be white. But with sedans i would go with either white, black or gray. After seeing each in flesh. But the only drawback with black is toooooo much cleaning is required.

Earlier it was silver but it is now white, white and white. I like metallic alabaster white or pearl white. Best thing is white cars look new, always and gives fresh feeling.
Even interiors are preferred in light colors like beige.

I've pixel peeped Porsche's different blue hues for far too long, especially the non-metallics. The new Shark Blue, which is reportedly a rebranded version of VW's Cornflower Blue, is quite intriguing. Grabber Blue is my favourite Ford blue, which may come as no surprise. The feel of Chief Blue for Jeep is comparable.
Plum Crazy is fantastic, much like how incredible Porsche's Ultraviolet on the GT3 RS is. An excellent orange is Go Mango. In the old Hellcat Redeye movies, I really enjoyed F8 Green.
Soul Crystal Red by Mazda is excellent. In a similar vein, the "Valencia Red Pearl" paint on an NSX caught my attention at an auto show since it appeared to be so deep. quite striking in person.
