Is it a tight fit or does it tend to become loose. In simpler words, how is it put on the seat?

Arun, It's a tight fit and doesn't get lose (atleast till now) :). I'll say it's very good deal for such price, and you'll always left with an option to change your interior with new seat covers in 15-16 months.

Wow, good to see so many queries/suggestions over USB port. I'm sure someone of us is gonna find the solution for sure. Pardon me for replying late, I'm facing broadband issue at home.
I asked the accessories guy there in showroom, Mr Laxman, regarding USB. He told he doesn't have anything like this. But he suggested that one can use "FM Moduler" which can be connected to Cigar Lighter and USB can be connected to that. I don't have any idea, so let me find out, if you have please share.
He told that will not void the warranty as it will be attached separetly.[clap]

Guys, this seems pretty easy and very very economical. All it needs a 12v power (cigarette lighter) and simply slide in USB drive with your Mp3 songs and tune to specified frequency on FM and thats it.

I haven't tired it yet but read a lot on net about it, will try to find out the device and try it out myself.

Thanks RSM :)

Cheers!

Great.
But how the HU will catch the specified frequency? Will this device transmit the data?
I am eager to know. If you try please let me know.

Thanks Grandeur for sharing this. Will this thing work with the iPod as well?

Cheers,
Vroom
There are very few which will work with iPod Like below; but only useful if head unit doesn't have Aux In.

Because it usually has only two slots one for SD card and another for USB. There are few FM Modulators which comes with AUX out, which can be directly connected to head unit with its Aux In.

I have seen couple of on ebay.in, for Rs 250-500/- but all comes with SD card slot and USB drive. However today I'll look out at some shop and will update you guys.

Yes this device transmits the songs like all other radio stations do.

All you have to do is tune your radio (search for channels) and your done.

But people looking for excellent quality music or who want to upgrade to component speakers, woofers etc in the future should not depends on such devices as it purely spoils the quality output when used with high end systems.
