for me its a bit heavy . a year ago there were lot of pulsars but not fz , so it caught my attention
Well buddy if it is heavy for you(55 kg and 6 feet height) then it should be extremely heavy for me, but actually - it isn't. You need to ride the bike once to see what it actually is.

Your requirements are:

Performance:
  • Maybe not faster but performance is at par with all said machines.
  • Lower end is better than all the said bikes and hence it offers good ease of riding.

Fuel economy of 35 kpl:
  • On highway 220 will give upto 45 kpl easily
  • In city also 35 and above is easily attainable.

Still, till date my worst is 34 and best is around 42 kpl overall. In other words, it offers 35+ overall, in fact it offers 40kpl easily.

My views on above said bikes:

  • FZ16: Better not compare with 220.
  • Pulsar 200: Has good top end, in fact very powerful top end but misses the peppiness of 220 as well as that feel of urgency that 220 has.
  • CBR 150: Hmm this bike is quicker but misses the feeling. C'mon yaar, displacement has no replacement.
  • KTM Duke: Eh, no offence to any owners but it sounds like a Luna Super, the exhaust note is just unbearable for me at least.

My simple suggestion is P200 NS or P180.
They has good riding positions for both city and highway drives and Fe depends from person to person their driving styles and all. I own a P180 UG4 and believe me this one is just awesome. Enough pickup for city and highway drives. I know I am getting biased here but this is my opinion.

I do not understand, why the bike feels heavy. If bike has enough power then no issue even if it is heavy. The rider don't have to pull the bike.

^^Then if you have a liking for FZ, then why not go for one?
my friend own a fz and told me that for my height i am going to get back pain , i rode it and didnt find anything as such (since it was just for a hour or so ) but he insists me not to buy that and at a bit of more budget u get NS which has enormous power when compared to fz , so in a state of dilemma .

Agree that Duke has a very poor exhaust note and horrible pillion seat; but if you want real fun, go ahead for the Duke! For VFM though Pulsar 200NS would be a great choice.
