Hey all a small reminder i know all of you'll are enthusiastic for the evening meet but also think about the small meet and lunch after the VW tour. Its for the mumbai members who wont be a part for the evening meet.

Also sorry forgot to update vbeat's message of cancellation of the trip he had informed me but was caught up in my vacation so had forgot.

Also the final list of the mumbai members is as follows

So these are the cars that will be coming from mumbai but out of these johny will be staying back with the rest of the members and pankaj also will be staying back for some personal work in pune.

As a small suggestion we can try out some nice dhaba in between chakan & lonavla.

Wow, its getting better and better by every post and at-last I also made it.

I will be starting in another 1 and half hours from chennai. Will meet Varun/Vishwas at bangalore and leave to Pune from there.

First time coming to Pune. Hope this visit will have pleasent memories. Regarding food, I would like to try real pune/north indian foods that south indian food. So guys plan accordingly. And pls have a count of Non-Vegetarinas and Vegetarians and we can decide based on that (i would love to have Non-Veg)

I love to eat at Dhabas, eating is a main part for me too or maybe you can term me as live to eat.

I second that. I am sure there would be many eateries nearby. Though I am okay driving down to Lonavala also for lunch.

@vishwas: yes we are trying to plan lonavla as its a nearby destination and will be a nice spot for south guys also being a friday it wont be that crowded. There are lots of dhabha on the way to lonavala. Infact i even know one sunny da dhaba a posh authentic dhaba but expensive. Also lonavla will provide some nice spots for some photo shoot.

My advice for Lunch : Since most of the outside members would spend time on long driving already on 6th and 7th morning even the Mumbai guys too, so instead of going a long way again searching for something, if we find a reasonably good dhaba near by we could spend more time in talking to each other which I like more than the food taste, because we travel from such a long way to meet you guys and talk to you guys on Automobiles etc.,

@ RK sir people drive down from such long and just for another 50 odd kms we miss one of the beautiful points is really bad. For us pune guys and mumbai guys its hardly a short drive of an hour or 2 but for south members its a long drive so when you'll have the opportunity do think about it.
About talking we have enough time for it after the VW tour. About the food joint we do have to drive a bit.

But again it aint my decision its group decision so let everybody decide.

If you people go from pune to lonavala by normal highway and not expressway, you will get lot of dhabas on road.

Plus in lonavala if you go to Tiger hill point, the place where we went before during Mumbai Pune TAI meet, There are lots of restaurants there as well. We went to Moti Mahal or something similar, it is between bushi dam and tiger hill point and the place have personalized parking as well.
