Thanks for starting up this thread and congratulations! Your Jetta is absolutely well kept and looks stunning. It is also visible that you have spent a fair amount of sum for the accessories. Especially the screens mounted behind front headrests looks impressive because of their perfect fitting. Overall, it’s a nice car and congratulations again. Keep us updated with the pictures and about the other aspects / experiences of ownership.

The LED indicators of Jetta is what i like the most.

The dimming timing interval is really what i liked.
Many thanks 350Z and mukeshus for the kind words.

Yes, even I liked the fitting of the DVD headrest. It's from RedSoul and they have done good job in tucking the wires properly. I did match the leather on the headrest with Stanley Leather.

Since we were talking about accessories, forgot to mention that I have put a light sun film on the front wind shield, which reduces the glare and protects the dashboard. It's from V-Cool and I feel it's worth it.

congrats dude..which brand is your GPS??
Many thanks dodge and smoothrider. It's from Map my India, VX 240, which has a reverse camera support as well.

I heard the latest Jetta comes with a built-in navigation and Bluetooth, something I miss in ours.

Stunning pics! Congrats.
I would shortly be looking for a second car and have shortlisted Jetta, Altis and Cruze (all AT variants).
I am just a little bit disappointed that there is no wood finish on the dash or even on the windows. Maybe VW reserved that for the Highline Variants!
Did you also install the dvd screens on the back of the front seats? If so, did the dealer did the instal?

Congrats again and enjoy driving this beauty!

ooooh, I love this car. Its a very under rated car. This is a hoot to drive. As you said, nil turbo lag, great acceleration, great pulling power at lower revs, precise steering, balanced chassis, amazing ride... this car has got it all.

The interiors feel really premium though the design is basic. I would have gone for this car if I had the budget & if it was primarily driven by me. I like the way the throttle is placed, it feels so comfortable. Only complaint I have is that the car looks very plain jane from outside. Its like a wolf in a sheep's clothing!

Man this is one car i fell in love with instantly after i drove one! If i am to pick a car in this segment i would pick Jetta with my eyes closed. Pictures are very nice , your car looks well maintained. And that's a mouth watering FE which you get considering the performance which Jetta gives.

But my only worry is servicing cost and reliability? I know VW'S servicing is going to be a bit costly , i am ready to pay for that. What about the reliability , any problems you faced with the car so far? I hope you have taken the extended warranty too.

@ Umang 11k for one year for a car costing close to 20Lakhs looks okay for me. If you want the bill to be around 6-7k then what is the difference between a C-segment sedan and this one? If i remember correctly i think even the disc brake pads on all 4 wheels will be changed during first service.

Many thanks ice cool, raj and cooldhaya for those kind words.
Yes, the design on the interior is basic but, but they are of real high quality. Ours is the Comfortline version, which was the highest in category at that time and I don't think Jetta comes with a wood finish on the interiors, not sure in the latest version.
The headrest DVD is from RedSoul and they installed it.
You are correct cooldhaya, the brake pads were changed during first service. I have taken the extended warranty and I'm really comfortable with the service by Downtown Volkswagen at Bangalore.

Yes you are right , i think the previous Jetta never came in an Highline variant. But anyways , Jetta was worth every penny IMO. Its a delight to drive!

Nice Car. i too am a VW fan and have booked a 2011 Passat C/L for delivery next week.

I was also keen on the all new 2011 Jetta but even the top end version lacks a few essential features which became a deal breaker for me.

I think in the looks department too your generation Jetta is better.

Agree with you, draven646. I liked the looks of my version Jetta.

All the very best for your new Passat, great car! Trust it's the one with park assist.

Happy driving

Take care and cheers!
