any info of this? I read in this thread stating it is launched in Mumbai.
Has it launched anywhere else? I'm looking forward for the new vespa to replace the current Access.

There is no disc brakes up front. I was seriously thinking of one in yellow as a city run-a-bout. But at 66k and no good safety features. Its a dampener. It comes with normal tyres too.

I just hope that the failure of Fiat to position itself as a stylish, premium Italian brand won't rub itself off on Vespa's marketing efforts as well. That said, how many of us here think that Vespa's target of 12000-15000 units per year is achieveable?

Not quite sure coz of the high price tag but still it would do averagely well!

Yes this is really all about style and brand and believe urban janta will not mind paying 10-15k extra for this beauty. Even we are thinking to upgrade to Vespa from current 2010 dec Activa, let c.

Saw a white one today. Looks tall and narrow. I'm pretty sure that those who do not know much about the brand and its identity (read 90% of scooter buying Indians) would label it as 'girlie'. So much for Vespa's claim about being a 'fashion statement' !

i love this scooter. my friend has purchased it one month back in black color. it gives very smooth soothing cushy n comfortable ride. but the only thing which i feel about it is that it doesnt go easy on pocket. i mean 70k for a scooter people rather go for bajaj or hero moto corp bikes.

Anyone got an info on Vespa sale numbers? Vibhor? Vishwanath?

I doubt there's any encouraging news. Moreover, my perception says these are fast being looked at as girlie machines, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but is cetrainly not something that Vespa has been trying to project through its markting campaign.

Pink? Orange? Why should boys have all the fun?
